Friday evening, 5:45pm. Friendly quick service and we only waited maybe 10 minutes for food! Exceptionally quick in my experience! The food was amazing as well!

Our food was great, and our waitress was very attentive. She checked in with us several times and took care of everything we wanted. I ordered a filet medium that was done to perfection. My wife’s salmon melted in her mouth. All of our sides were perfectly seasoned. The homemade rolls were top notch, and the coconut shrimp with marmalade was a great appetizer. We complimented our meal with an amazing sweet and sour kiss (raspberry vodka).

Definitely having someone else answer the phone and greet customers would be beneficial. She was so unfriendly!! I’ll never understand why someone works with the public and is rude. I really wanted to match her energy but it’s just not who I am. It did set the tone for our evening out which is a bummer because this was a special occasion.
Our server was kind, sweet, friendly and that helped. However, I’m not sure if they were short staffed or if we were forgotten, but it took 45 minutes before our order was taken. Our server took drink and appetizer orders and then left. I was thinking most places you put your entire order in at the same time but she didn’t give us a chance to. I’m fact after our apps were just about eaten, we had to get her attention and ask her to please take our order.
Our food was delicious. Steaks were cooked perfectly! Our server was attentive to drinks, she did forget to bring one, but that’s not a big deal. Portion sizes are really good, except for the fried shrimp, they were tiny and very fried. Our appetizers were delicious as well!!
5 stars for the food!!! Even the delay in ordering isn’t a big deal to us and understandable if short staffed. You could tell our server was working hard!

Friends took me there for a belated birthday dinner. The restaurant was nice and welcoming. My dirty martini was perfect and the creamed spinach was wonderful. The filet mignon – steak is what one comes to a restaurant known for steaks isn’t it – was too tough to cut with the steak knife or chew to the point of swallowing so the meal was very disappointing. Another person in the party had the same issue with her filet. The waitress was very nice and offered to have the steaks remade for us but by the time she offered we were finished with the rest of our meals. As Johnny’s is a 40 minute drive from my house, I doubt I’ll be returning.

While visiting Lancaster County area with some friends this past weekend for my 21st we stumbled across Johnny’s Steakhouse. Upon seeing the reviews my hopes were high and I was ready for a good steak. The hostess greeted us up on entry and our waitress arrived at our table shortly after. We were immediately read the nightly specials and were asked about ordering drinks. Swiftly, our drinks arrived and we ordered appetizers (bacon cheese fries and onion rings). The portion sizes were MASSIVE and easily satisfied the 4 of us. Some time later our steaks arrived and were cooked to a perfect medium-rare, juicy and tasty as could be. I will definitely be returning on our next trip!

There was no waiting to be seated at our table for 2, and our waitress was prompt to greet us and courteous throughout the meal. The atmosphere is pleasant and not overly noisy as some bars can be. Our drinks and appetizer can quickly and were satisfactory. The dishes we ordered were tasty and filling, but the cost seemed to be a bit high for the amount of food received. We have had similar meals at other places for ~2/3 the cost. Ours was a special occasion, but probably will not return any time soon.

I am sorry. I have always loved this place. I made a reservation for valentines day. Got to the steakhouse to be told they ran out of steaks on top of an already reduced menu that was not communicated online or at time of booking. $200 plus for food that we were not originally looking for.

Always spot on. This chef gives the Log Cabin a run for the money. Everything is consistent and perfectly cooked. This has become our favorite date night place. It can get cool so bring a jacket!
