Excellent papusa! Several options available. Full menu of traditional Salvadoran dishes as well. Table service is nice with several booths. Prrices are great currently 3.50 for a papusa. Really glad we stopped in and will give them another visit soon.

Translated “Salvadorian restaurant,” it exudes authentic Salvadorian culture through its vibrant colors, warm atmosphere, and lively aesthetic. Though quaint, it feels spacious and inviting Watching the women cook was a privilege. It reminded me of my mother and grandmother in the kitchen back home in Cuba. The aromas of fried fish, rice, and beans felt both familiar and comforting, two cultures beautifully intertwined. Every dish is handmade and genuinely authentic. The prices are very affordable, and the menu is as diverse as the culture itself. I highly recommend it.

I’m always particular about restaurant cleanliness and functionality, especially the bathrooms, and that detail slightly lowered my experience. Still, overall, it was a wonderful experience that I’d happily repeat.

I stopped at this place on a whim, and I’m so glad I did! Don’t let the appearance fool you!!! this restaurant serves very authentic Salvadorian food!

I’ve tried the pork, bean, and cheese papas, which were fantastic, as well as the fried empanadas filled with a thick, custard like milk filling. The chicken pastelitos were delicious too! I also loved the vinegar cabbage and carrot; it complemented the meal perfectly, along with refried beans full of flavor!

This was my second visit, and I highly recommend it! The staff is very friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back!

Hands down the best Salvadorean food we’ve had since we moved to the Midwest from Los Angeles. We ordered the empanadas which were amazing! Very good sized portions. We got pastelitos who just were made the authentic way, something done incorrectly a lot. Their pupusas were excellent. We got mixtas and frijol con queso. They were big and full of flavor. The star of the show for me was the sopa de patas. It was perfection! It had big pieces of tripe and perfectly cooked yucca. We got a quesadilla to go (the bread) and it was the best. Next time we visit Nashville we will for sure return here. The service was great and attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant. This is our new favorite

Best pupusas I’ve tried so far in Nashville!!

Let me start off by saying, my regular pupusa place closed down a couple of weeks ago, and a lot of people have told me great things about this place. So I decided to try it…

I called in and ordered 6 pupusas and I asked if they would give me extra sauces, the lady who answered the phone told me yes and it would be 25 minutes. I arrived and waited, I went inside and used their restroom. Restroom was super clean, I walked towards the front and they politely asked me if I was waiting on an order, I told her yes and my name! She then tells me my food would be out shortly. I grabbed my food and I paid.

Let me juts say…. Their customer service was beyond my expectations, I’m the type of person that thinks and feels like….. if their customer service is good, their food must be amazing…..

First thing I noticed when I opened my bag was how much extra sauces they gave me, WOW! You guys are amazing! Second thing I noticed, was HOW AMAZING THE PUPUSAS WERE.

Not only did I get amazing customer service, extra sauces, but the foood was so delicious!!! If I would have known the food was this good I would have grabbed a dessert. I’m sure I’ll be back, and next time I’ll try their desserts. I’m looking forward to It. Thank you for your great customer service!!!!

After the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors meeting Robert N. Hoff and I stopped in at an authentic Salvadoran restaurant. Robert had steak and veggies I had a delicious fried chicken with beans, rice, and pickled veggies. The food was very authentic and good.

Food here is a 5/5. I didn’t realize pupusas could be this delicious with just a handful of simple ingredients. These are small tortilla-like breads stuffed with pork and cheese. The simplicity of the ingredients paired with the excellent green hot sauce and vinegar cold shredded cabbage makes for an excellent experience.

I had both their pupusa revuelta as well as the pupusa y chicharron. While both were good, I preferred the chicharron one more since it had crispier pieces of pork and had more fat content.

I tried a little bit of their pupusa with loroco. It had a distinctly different smell and flavor, and it wasn’t something I would get again since it wasn’t as good as the others.

If you are really hungry, go with 3 pupusas. If you aren’t ravenous, 2 will be a decent amount.

They serve a small ramekin of a coleslaw that has some vinegar and sugar. I found that having this with the pupusa and green hot sauce was perfect. You would get the heat from the sauce, the chewy and savory flavors from the pupusas, and then the sweet, tart, and crunch from the veggies.

The ONLY reason I even take away one star is from the cleanliness of the establishment. When looking under tables, this place left a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. The biggest issue was that I saw the biggest cockroach that I’ve ever seen, just walking through the restaurant like it owned the place. Thankful I only noticed this AFTER my meal. This was easily a 3-inch cockroach.

Overall, I would come here again, maybe to take-out next time just to avoid running into any bugs. The food is exceptional though.

The pupusas here are really delicious. They’re a little on the oily side, but the flavors are really good. We ended up trying the cheese, chicken, and pork with cheese and beans. We visited a couple of times, and at first, my favorite was the cheese, but on the second visit, it ended up being the chicken. The price isn’t bad at all, and we ended up enjoying our meal.

We ordered queso and queso/frijoles (cheese and cheese/beans) pupusas to go and loved them! They also came with a side of sauce and slaw. We ate all 11 we ordered.

It helps if you know Spanish when ordering, but they made it happen with my “Spanglish” and they were ready by the time I got there after ordering on the phone.

Great Salvadoran pupusas in 37211!
