I got dinner to go two nights in a row. Great food each time! Favorites: red beans and rice / shrimp po-boy. Cashiers were polite and on the ball. My order was ready in less than 10 minutes (both nights). I think the price I paid was very good. I would recommend this restaurant for sure.

Asked multiple locals where we could find some good Cajun food and they mentioned this place a few times. We definitely enjoyed the experience. I wish the bowls were a tad bit bigger but the flavor was great. Would definitely visit again.

I’ve always been so thrilled to eat at this great little diner. Food always great. But not today— fish was over cooked and way too much batter. The shrimp wasn’t seasoned. The hush puppies were way over cooked—- break a window overcooked. The fries were good. I asked if a drink came with my meal—- young lady said “No” in very harsh tone. ( I always had a drink before this.) Sorry I tipped!!

I ate lunch at Off The Hook yesterday, and I was very surprised at how good the service was. I had the sausage and chicken gumbo and it was fast and delicious. Additionally, there was a cashier named Aleyiah that was so kind to me and very patient when I had card issues. Overall great experience!!

y’all haven’t been to Off The Hook, you’re missing out on some seriously good eats. I went all in with their Roast Beef Po’Boy and the Seafood & Chicken meal, and let me tell you—every bite was something to remember.

That Roast Beef Po’Boy was straight-up perfection. The bread was soft and toasted just right, loaded with tender, slow-cooked roast beef smothered in rich, savory gravy. It was messy, dripping with flavor, and every bite melted in my mouth. That’s the kind of sandwich you need extra napkins for, but it’s worth every bit of it.

Then came the Seafood & Chicken plate—fried to golden, crispy perfection. The seafood had that perfect crunch on the outside, but inside? Juicy, fresh, and seasoned just right. And the fried chicken? That first bite hit with a crispy snap, followed by the kind of juicy, well-seasoned goodness that makes you close your eyes and just enjoy the moment.

By the time I was done, I was full but still thinking about the next time I could come back. If you love good, Southern-style food that hits every time, Off The Hook is the spot. Don’t sleep on it!

The ambiance at Off The Hook is casual and welcoming, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors seeking authentic Louisiana flavors. In addition to the Roast Beef Po’Boy, the menu offers a variety of seafood and chicken dishes, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

For dessert, many patrons recommend trying the T-Boy Toast, described as a “very delicious dessert.”
