I have been going to this grocery store and restaurant for many years now. And today I am rating their business with five stars which is the max I can give. To start with the customer service they are among the best if not the best. The cashiers and employees are full of respect and very helpful. Their foods are really good and tasteful, once you try it you will always try to come back. Lot of food choices are available and my favorite one is the Afra .
Finally the employees, the grocery side and restaurant are very clean. I’ll not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Ordered the fufu and egusi. fufu was fine however the egusi had mostly bones and literally TEETH inside of it!? not human teeth but seems like cow or goat teeth. egusi is supposed to be boneless. photo taken from my trash cause there was now way i was touching that again.

Very bad customer service by a gentleman who refuse to give eye contact. A display of food that was not properly labeled. I ordered red oil potato greens and was told twice that it didn’t have meat in it with an attitude just to find meat( not a problem) was unable to eat the food because it taste like I was eating something hard and shredded in small pieces and it taste like eating dirt. Very disappointed

If I could give less than one star I would. Truly disappointed. I called ahead for an order was told 20 minutes. I arrive and im told 10 MORE minutes. After that, I ask about my order only to find out they sold a portion of my order. Im not sure if communication isnt apart of the training or work ethic but it absolutely needs to improve amongst the staff. The cooks dont know how long the food will take even though they cook it everyday, the cashiers dont know who’s order is who’s which is basic restaurant common sense. Im livid because I DO NOT have an 45min-1hr to sit and wait for an order that I was told would be ready in 20 MINUTES.

Always closed, always out of Egusi, never has whole talapia ready, the last month they been making their food with ghost peppers so it’s to spicy to eat. The food is so good but they be making me mad please step your game up so when I come to MN I can have some decent African food I travel all the way from Wisconsin to be disappointed every time. Never again. Gave me items I did not order and charged me for it! The potato greens were waaaay too spicy! My lips started burning and could not take more than two bites!! 18$ down the drain..server was rude and avoided eye contact. Please isn’t the cleanest as well.. I was told they had good food so gave that a try ..won’t do tht again.
