What may be North Dakota’s best kept secret, this bar has everything you could ever want. The owner/bartender is literally model material, and his dog could be featured on the Westminster Kennel Club championships.
While the atmosphere is chill, the drinks are even colder. I highly recommend stopping here for a Busch light, or if you’re feeling adventurous the greatest caesar ever made.
Don’t write off Mayville yet, stop by Stubs bar (pronounced Stools) for an amazing afternoon or evening experience.
Better yet, remind him you saw this review so I hopefully get a free beer…

Kol the bartender was the kindest person I ever met. He runs a monthly twilight trivia night and generally loves to listen to your life problems and provide positive feedback! Give him a hug if you ever go in for twilight trivia!

What a wonderful little hole in the wall. Apparently the oldest commercial building in the city of Mayville, it’s a quiet little spot in a quiet little town that is patroned by fiercely devoted regulars and is a must visit if you happen to be in the adorable little college town. And please, don’t give the dog any booze. No seriously. Don’t.
