Cortaditos is a vibrant local spot with a strong Cuban vibe, and since it’s close to my home, I find myself stopping by quite often. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by colorful artwork, lively décor, and a bakery display full of pastries that makes choosing just one almost impossible. The coffee is rich and well-balanced, especially great if you enjoy Cuban-style espresso drinks.
The staff is friendly and efficient, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. There’s also outdoor seating, making it a nice place to enjoy your drink on a good-weather day. A cozy neighborhood café with personality definitely worth visiting.

This is the second location I’ve had the pleasure of visiting and everything from the food to the service was fantastic. From the beautiful artwork including the mural of Celia Cruz to the mosaic of Havana in the back is a true work of art . I recommend this place and absolutely will be back when I’m in the area. Another very important detail I forgot to mention is that they’re dog friendly.

Such a gem in Union City! It’s rare to find real specialty coffee around here, and this Cuban café nails it. Great coffee, amazing Cuban music timba !!!, and the vibe is just perfect. I’m a musician, so I’m picky about atmosphere — and this place totally gets it. Love it!

My personal experience at this restaurant was amazing. Firstly, the empanadas were made well and delicious —- and so was the Iced Mocha. The indoor designs are beautiful, and the atmosphere is perfect. There are a plethora amount of options you can choose from, and either way, it will still be great! I highly recommend.

I fell in love with this coffee shop! Came across this beautiful shop while visiting my lil cousin. I am a big coffee lover and I wanted to try somewhere different!! Welcoming atmosphere, affordable menu, large sandwiches .. I had an iced latte with honey and caramel drizzle It’s also located in American Dream Mall ! I was so happy when I saw it! I went 3 days straight to enjoy my coffee and breakfast sandwiches.

The coffee It’s always good, but the customer service sometimes it’s a little bit poor and they sometimes forget my order or part of the order. I usually order a Pollo Loco sandwich and today i took my friend and her sandwich was pretty sad, the chipotle mayo was basically nothing. It definitely needs a touch of something else, usually they have potato fries on them that give it a different flavor.

I normally LOVE this spot, because of the consistently amazing coffee. It’s not always perfect, but it’s always delicious. NOT TODAY.
I ordered breakfast at 10 am today (a Sunday). The coffee was a watery mess, with no recognizable flavor. My wife and I ordered different coffees that were also different temperatures and they tasted the same! Watery, diluted espresso that tasted like Dunkin. I also asked for extra pickles on my sandwich (an additional $1), and got an additional THINLY sliced later that honestly should have been a part of the sandwich in the first place. Don’t pay for extra pickles.
As expensive as this spot is, this is unacceptable, even in the midst of the Sunday rush.

I feel welcomed every time I walk in the door. The girls there are so sweet! I’m there at least twice a week. Always a nice experience with great coffee. If you get there around 1 or 2 the girls do a little song number honoring the late Celia Cruz.
