We started with the Caesar salad and fresh bread — both perfectly prepared — followed by spaghetti with meat sauce and prime rib that were absolutely incredible. The flavors were rich, the portions generous, and everything tasted like it was made with care. We ended with tiramisu, and it was the perfect sweet finish to an unforgettable meal.
Beyond the amazing food, what really stood out was the hospitality. Chris and Tawny genuinely care about their guests, and it shows in every detail. It’s rare to find a place that combines such heart with such quality, and Brick House does it flawlessly.
This was one of the best meals of our lives, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for not just great food, but a truly special dining experience.
The establishment boasts an appealing old-town setting, characterized by notable historical architecture and tasteful décor.
Regrettably, the culinary offerings do not align with the premium pricing. For instance, the $22 hand pressed 1/2 ground chuck burger was found to be deficient in flavor and juiciness and pressed from a mold, while the $35 beef stroganoff, despite being a “signature” dish, was notably simple lacking a traditional savory flavor of Worcester sauce.
Service, though friendly, appeared to be hampered by understaffing, evidenced by a 40-minute wait for seating.
In summary, while the ambiance is appealing, the overall quality and value proposition may not entirely align with the expectations of the average consumer. However, for individuals seeking a family-owned establishment in a historic downtown area, this could be a suitable option, particularly for those with a preference for uncomplicated flavors.
The food was amazing (10/10). The fettuccini pasta was incredibly fresh and flavorful—way better than Olive Garden in my opinion Both my dish and the kids’ meals were a huge success.
Unfortunately, the service provided by our waitress was severely lacking. She was inattentive, neglecting to check on our table for the entire evening, and displayed a consistently rude attitude when we did interact. The poor experience culminated when she became openly upset and confrontational after I simply requested clarification on the kids’ drink charges.
This negative interaction was entirely salvaged by the owner. He was very kind, understanding, and highly professional in resolving the billing issue. His commitment to customer service is the sole reason I am choosing to return. I hope the service standard can be brought up to match the quality of the kitchen.
