Finally tried old forge style pizza and they did not disappoint. Got classic 12 cut red pie. We felt salt was missing just a touch but they had grated parm and red flakes which sealed the deal. Crust is crunchy but airy in the most sublime way.
Atmosphere is of that of a mom and pop shop but they have been open for years. A bit political leaning but that is understandable considering it’s a small town. Overall we had a great experience and ate in peace. It was monday afternoon when we dropped by. Their dine in was closed but take out was open and had stools.

A group of us stopped by to try Old Forge pizza before we left town since we heard so many good things, so we stopped by. Even though they weren’t really open for dine in and were just doing takeout, they graciously told us to come on in and served us even though they were short staffed.
The food absolutely lives up to the hype, and I can’t say enough great things about how delicious the pizza was. But more than that, the staff were so amazing and friendly, and in a totally genuine way. Please do yourself a favor and check this place out! Thank you again for being so welcoming.

I flew from CA and my family drove from CT just for the pizza. I used to frequent Arcaro and Genell’s when I lived in Scranton, so I wanted to taste that wonderful pizza again. The staff was so nice and super friendly. We purchased five boxes so that we could take some home!

I ordered boneless wings here to take to work for my break, they came floating in oil so I couldn’t taste the sauce it just separated the sauce and was inedible, I’m very surprised such a popular place would serve such a thing other than that the place looks amazing and the cashier was very pleasent

Had to travel to Wilkes Barre, well worth the extra time to go to Old Forge. The classic red pizza tray was delicious, whole family loved it. Crust was perfect slightly crispy on bottom and great bread texture. The tomato and onion flavors are well balanced. The white pizza is also good, tons of cheese. Goes great with tomato soup the next day. Only slight issue was woody rosemary leaves on the white pizza, other seasonings are tasty. The kids enjoyed a quick game of bocce ball while the adults picked up the pizzas. Staff were friendly. Didn’t get dessert this time but they’re always delicious too

Arcaro and Genell are always worth the visit. Since childhood, I’ve remembered them as one of the pillars of Old Forge Pizza. The crust is fresh and flaky with every bite, and the cheese pulls you back in, piece by piece. The Limoncello Cake reminded me of home-style Limoncello by the shot Don’t miss out on one of the best local pizzas around!

Stopped in here for a couple slices at lunch in the recommendation of a friend. Had to try Old Forge pizza when I was out this way in Pennsylvania. I enjoyed it – kind of in between grandma and Sicilian style slices. Nice crispy crust, good sauce and flavorful cheese blend. Will be back! The owner knew everyone by first name who came in to pick up their lunch orders. A true gem.

Our favorite of The Old Forge pizza restaurants. They only do “takeaway”. The white is perfect and the red is also delicious. Could not be nicer servers. They have a bocce court and also a rental hall. At the “takeaway” store they offer a variety of Italian cuisine specialties.

I have been going to this establishment since I was a little boy. I remember the smells the food my family being loud and happy. It’s my favorite pizza in the world. I ordered two trays tonight, to introduce my son’s girlfriend to the best pizza ever. She didn’t get the chance, the person on the phone taking the orders was so rude I decided not to pick up the pizza and ordered from across the street. I won’t go back.

First solid food my kid ever had was white pizza from here when I was working in the area and her mom brought her by to see me. Afterwards, we always made it a stop when we were in the area. 40 years later I stopped by on Easter after a funeral in Rochester. Mike was gracious enough to heat us up a half tray of double crust white to go. Still amazing Pizza! Like no other. You gotta stop here.
