I had the $19.99 ribeye steak with onions and peppers along with a loaded baked potato and a side salad. The peppers and onions was a minimal additional cost but well worth it. The flavor of the steak was really good. Good place to eat.

The marinated hand cut ribeye cooked medium rare was fantastic! I wasn’t expecting the sweet tea to be so refreshing but it was surprisingly great. Everything including service was spot on. Thanks for doing a great job, looking forward to coming back soon.

Well, for one thing you can’t beat the price on the house ribeye for $19.99. Steak was cooked to perfection. My wife got the chicken and dumplings for lunch and she really enjoyed them. Great place for some great southern home style cooking. Shannon W she went above and beyond on being our waitress.

We were driving through town and were pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. The food was really good and fresh. The fruit tea is amazing!

Four start only because we got Spinach Queso and we don’t thibk that was worth 8.99, but everything else was reasonable.

This place was ok, decent food. We were trying to find someplace kinda nice to have our 19th wedding anniversary dinner. We came across Preston’s and figured we’d give it a try. It was Halloween, so staff had on cute orange shirts with some sayings marking the day. Except our server, she just had on a Prrdton’s restaurant shirt/work shirt. She was good and efficient, but not winning Miss Congeniality. Maybe I’m a bit biased as I was a server for a long time and a restaurant manager, and as such I have certain expectations when I go to a restaurant. We felt EXTREMELY rushed. She took our order and asked if we wanted anything else. We said no, and waited for our food. As soon as entrees arrived she again asked if we wanted anything else, we said we were good and then she put the bill down on the table. Wow, we just got our food. Not how you make a guest feel welcome. She did check on us and got refills. As I said, she was good and efficient, just not very friendly. We asked for to-go boxes for leftovers and she gave them to us and started to walk away. We wanted dessert, it was our anniversary, but we felt like we had to ask for dessert to-go, and did. She did not want us there any longer. Of course she had to add the dessert to our bill, which meant printing a new one. If she had waited 10 minutes after we got our entrees to ask if we wanted anything else that could have been avoided. It really didn’t seem like she wanted us there in the first place, which is fine as we live over an hour away from here so it’s not a hardship to not return. Won’t go where we’re not wanted, very simple.
Prices were fairly reasonable. I was disappointed with the size of the ribeye steaks. Menu doesn’t state size, so we asked and we’re told “at least 10 oz” and they had been “a good size today”. Uhm, to me that’s rather small for a dinner entree. They were pretty thin, but tasted pretty good. The baked potatoes were small, and barely warm. Would not even hint at melting the “butter”. We did hear other tables say their potatoes were cold, and they actually complained to a server about them. The sour cream packets were warm and watery when opened, I think because they were not cold. The food tasted good, but $20 for a 10 Oz steak is a bit high in my book. Especially when it’s more of a breakfast size steak. Then again, prices are crazy everywhere for everything these days, so maybe it’s more my perception.
There’s no real atmosphere, it’s just kind of a small place, very basic decor, basic tables and chairs. More of a diner type style, minus the typical diner counter.
It’s a decent meal, and clean restaurant. The other menu items could be really good we just didn’t try them so I can’t say. And maybe our server was just having a bad day, we’ve all had them, and that’s why she was so unfriendly, who knows?
It’s worth checking out if you live nearby, but nothing special or exciting to draw us from so far away, or to recommend a long trip to others to eat here.

We loved this place. Hubby got a Ribeye, salad, & loaded baked potato. I got Cajun chicken breast, rice, & loaded baked potato. Both our meals were great. You get plenty of food & the prices are so reasonable. Very good atmosphere. The place was clean. So glad we found this place.

Ate here with my mom one night and we both LOVED IT. We’ll definitely be coming back. The food was delicious and the staff was unbelievably kind. I can be pretty picky and was having a hard time picking what I wanted, but our waitress actually sat down and gave recommendations. She was super patient and nice. 5 star food, 5 star staff. One of my new favorite restaurants for comfort food.

Very busy. I met some family here for dinner. We had a family member from out of town visiting! I got the blackened fish and broccoli . I also got a side of onions and bell peppers. On the menu it doesn’t say anything about them being pickled. I have cut out sugar and I was very disappointed when I took a bite. My food was great otherwise and we enjoyed a nice dinner with family.
