Do you ever leave a restaurant feeling sad you gave them your money? Because that sums up how we felt last night.
For starters, look at the lettuce on my burger. How, in any capacity, did someone think that was acceptable to serve a paying customer? I was shocked when I received it.
Unfortunately, that was only one complaint against many: they were out of the sticky toffee pudding shake, the sugar cookie shake we subbed was an overpriced vanilla shake with a hint of artificial cookie, the oil needs to be changed as all our fried items tasted bitter (onion rings, chicken nuggets, etc), fries were served lukewarm, and my husband’s burger had toppings and a bun that were barely on top of the actual meat patty (apparently it was assemble your own burger day). The best things we got were a burnt grilled cheese and my daughter’s plain cheeseburger.
Thankfully, the kind individual working the counter had them make me a new burger that was much, much better. The girl who brought it out was nice and apologetic. But considering my whole family was fighting stomach aches and trying not to throw up shortly after our visit for the rest of the night, I won’t be returning anytime soon. For shame, Shake Shack. For shame.

I highly recommend the cherry peppers on any burger. I love cherry peppers, but most restaurants don’t have them. Also, the fried pickles and shake were delicious. I didn’t care much for the mango passionade (tasted a bit generic without much actual passion-fruit flavor), but I like that Shake Shack regularly tries some different options on the menu. I feel like the burgers are really overpriced, but they are nice for a quick tasty bite.

Way too over priced and over hyped. Might be worth trying once. But 20 a person for a meal is insane for the taste. Chicken is dry and the fried bits are way too hard it clashes with the bacon. Bunch of crunch going on. The burger was mid at best. The fries are good but way too salty. And you can’t even serve your self drinks. And you ask for tips when i take my own order? lol

Don’t set expectation high on this place. McDonald has better service than this place. Ordered burger and chicken bites. The bread is cold just like they took it right out of the fridge. Then I requested them to re-make it. Looked like this time they seemed to “grill” the bread, but it is still cold. So I just gave up. Also I didn’t receive any dipping cause for the chicken bites. They have about 6-7 people on the kitchen, but seemed like no one knows what they were doing

We were on a road trip from Calgary to Vegas with friends, and right next to our hotel we decided to try Shake Shack for the first time. Since that day, I’ve officially become a huge fan of the Shroom Burger! I can’t even explain how good it was — easily one of the best burgers I’ve had on our entire trip.
On our way back to Canada, I was still craving it so much that I searched for the nearest Shake Shack — and thankfully, we found this location. We reached just before closing, and Sarah (I hope I’m spelling that right!) was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely polite, patient, helpful, and genuinely kind. Her customer service was the best I experienced anywhere in the States. She made our visit feel warm and welcoming, even at the end of the day. People like her truly make a difference.
This Shake Shack location has become a memorable part of our trip. If we ever drive to the States again, this will definitely be one of our stops. I genuinely wish the entire team great success. I also really hope Shake Shack opens in Canada one day — especially in Calgary — because I would be the first in line to support it (and honestly, I’d even love to do business with them someday!).

Shake shack! We were so excited for you to come this way. We have had a good experience with the burgers, but the chicken bites were a HUGE let down. Look how freakin’ tiny this order was – for $8! My hand to compare size in pic. Only really was 5 little bites of chicken, the rest was just fried batter.

Overpriced and undercooked. Two of our three burger patties were very pink inside. And the cheese fries had very little cheese. The onion rings and milkshake tasted pretty standard so nothing to complain about there but also nothing worth paying for again. The lady that delivered the order to our table was the only positive part. The atmosphere itself felt like a mass produced dining area meant to be uncomfortable enough you won’t stay long.
