Wasn’t sure what to expect when I visited this mexican restaurant. It looked nicer inside than I had expected. I would say that the food was also tastier than at the average mexican restaurant. I normally don’t order meals with shrimp, but I did this time and I am very glad I did. It was excellent. My daughter ordered a burrito and ate the whole thing. The waitstaff was excellent and very attentive. I would definitely visit here again if in the area.

Staff were kind and attentive once they finally came over to take our order. Margaritas were excellent. Unfortunately the food was terrible and we did not finish it. Chips were not fresh, not a fan of the salsa, steak in my tacos was chewy, flautas were too greasy. They were extra busy so that could be the reason but we will not be going back.

Springfield does not lack for Mexican restaurants. This is one of the best. The chips and salsa is excellent, the guacamole dip is delicious. My wife had the vegetarian burrito – large and flavorful. I had the cerviche (shrimp) which was really delicious and a small glass of modelo negra to soothe the heat. We’ll definitely return.

Food is good but the margaritas are very disappointing. I don’t know what cost cutting savings they implemented, but all you can taste is the lime mix. We even ordered an additional shot and that still didn’t help. Hope ownership goes back to their original recipe. We wont be returning anytime soon. Not worth the money.

As always, this is an enjoyable place to pick up a great meal. It has a kid’s menu. Daily specials are posted on a board when you walk in. They have an outdoor patio with tables, but I haven’t seen anyone eat out there for awhile.

My family and I had dinner here tonight and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. From the moment we walked in, the service felt unfriendly and unwelcoming. Our server had a negative attitude when taking our drink order and never once came back to check on us during the meal.
When our food arrived, only one entrée was brought out, and no one returned to address it or ask how everything was. We were left waiting and felt completely ignored. On top of the poor service, the food itself was not good.
We were really looking forward to a nice dinner, but the overall experience was frustrating and disappointing. Sadly, we won’t be returning

SLOW service, says best margarita in Springfield but there’s NO alcohol in it and for a size other Mexican restaurants charge 12 dollars for they charge 20. WILL NEVER RETURN!!!! 3 kids meals for 8.99 a cheese sauce and 1 margarita cost $73 dollars.

This isn’t our first time here and they have always been great! Beautifully decorated and delicious food. And it’s not your typical menu. They have some very unique dishes. I love the Don Trino and my hubby loved the Chori Nachos.

The food was fresh and delicious including their salsa and chip appetizer. Dinner was served promptly and the service was great. We also enjoyed the Margarita Tower. Will definitely return soon.

The birria pizza tasted like I couldn’t believe what I was tasting. They didn’t use Oaxaca, Cotija or Chihuahua cheese. It wasn’t spicy, barely had any flavor. It was a to-go order; no sourcream (understood if authentic), the consomme’ was too thin and no lime on the side.
I was like: Nope! Imma say No to this one and I don’t generally give bad reviews. As a lover of Mexican food, I can’t in good faith with good taste!
