Baris was an amazing waiter. Super attentive and very kind. He recommended certain plates and was very sweet. The food was absolutely delicious and the plate I ordered was the best seasoned chicken I’ve had in so long. The dessert was also very good. We had knafeh and the flavor was so rich and crispy. My dads lamb was very soft and flavorful (he’s very picky) so I would really recommend this spot 🙂

We absolutely love this restaurant. The food is always delicious, fresh and plentiful. The appetizers are enough for a meal (because we order so many) but we could never leave without filling our plates with some of the best filet and lamb we have ever had. We have brought friends and family, all of them throughly enjoyed and continue to return on their own. We are never rushed out nor left waiting for our meal either! I highly recommend Mado for a truly delicious and pleasant experience.

This place is spectacular and has been since it opened. I remember when they first moved to River Edge years ago and gave out free desserts with their takeout orders. The people were consistently friendly and hospitable, and the food was fresh and delicious. This excellent service never wavered.
My husband and I just came back tonight (after moving far away), and we were so pleased to see them still doing well. The portions were generous just like before, the ambiance was beautiful and cozy, and my salmon was cooked to perfection.
Thank you Mado for being a staple in Bergen County. We look forward to seeing you again on our next visit.

It’s a fantastic place! AS evidence by others dining in the room, you don’t need to be Middle Eastern to enjoy the absolutely delicious food, the warm, unhurried service and the conviviality both create. We also go with a group and are never, ever disappointed, with many dishes made even better than our mothers!
