Great place to buy some delicious gorditas! My go to place if I am craving authentic fresh gorditas!
Typical Mexican food on the menu but they excel at making Corpus Christis best tasting gorditas..large varity of fillings. I highly recommend chicharon guisado! Tasty and the perfect spiciness. The masa is cooked to perfection and it will surely satisfy your taste.
The location inside is clean and has plenty of space. Worth a try!

so so so good! Went here due to recommendations from my coworkers and I regret not coming earlier! I heard they have the best carnitas in town but i decided to get some breakfast tacos! Good size for a good price as well! I got 4 big breakfast tacos for $11! Can’t beat that price! This place is cash only so be prepared and take some cash!

This place is really good, I have been going there to get my Mexican Mini Tacos fix. The service is great. However, they only accept cash still and the price has been increasing drastically. That meal cost me more than 20 dollars. Single order of tacos with a Mexican coke.

On 9/27/25 I ordered 2 pure Barbaqoa tacos at the drive thru it cost $10.28 and very greasy. I”ll never go back again and get greasy tacos , when I ordered pure Barbaqoa. With $6.00 extra I could have gotten to Southside Barbaqoa and have ordered 1lb . of pure Barbaqoa .

First time going there, the only thing I didn’t like that there was no tortillas including in the barbacoa package, other taquerias give a small pack and there are not that expensive. But I was trying something new.

This is the only place I’ll eat Mexican food. It’s authentic Mexican food. Never had a bad dish. Chips and salsa are bomb. Don’t let this little ol’ place fool you.

It’s actually ZERO STARS!! Everytime we order barbacoa at Marroquin’s we request Cachete Entero (whole cheek meat) and we NEVER get what we request!! We paid $21.00 for 1-1/2 pounds this morning and we got at least half a pound of lengua!! Other times it’s been brisket!! What’s the difference? Lengua and brisket are dry and stingy meat
This is the only place that you have to check your order before driving off because they will not refund you or exchange it! Now I remember why we stopped eating here. Very disappointing and unsatisfying!!
People check your orders!!

The food is usually great! But today Friday 5/23 I went and ordered some Barbacoa mix and when we got home with it ready to eat it had a black long hair. I called to take it back and let them know about it- was just said to bring it back and sorry.
But just be aware, don’t be upset if this occurs to you. You are going at your own risk.
It’s a drive I usually make and just for a sorry. I think it’s disgusting and disappointing. Unfortunately they lost a regular client.
