The first time visiting Sushi by the Heights was a phenomenal experience. I had went for my birthday a few years back and wanted to write this review for the longest. Went back several times and the food still tastes great, I will say service dipped a tiny bit but still attentive. My go to dishes are the miso soup for starters and the seared tuna salad is delicious. As for Entree’s I love the Scallop Risotto and the Spicy Lobster Roll are both amazing flavorful dishes.

The food at Sushi by the Heights was quite good but still fell a bit short of expectations. The tataki and tartare were good but the roll options were very limited if you did not want cream cheese or tempura shrimp in it. We were looking more for fresh fish in and out.
Overall they added in a lot of flavors to the dishes and it was freshly made. I would try it again if the menu changed a bit. Prices were pretty good and there was ample parking which was nice.

Good food and good atmosphere! We had the Tempura veggies for appetizer, and it was very good. The veggies were tender, the batter was crispy, well seasoned and the sauce was delicious. For entree I got the rainbow maki roll and the lamb chops. They were both delicious! My fiancée got the tofu bowl and it was equally delicious. Recommend this place to anyone looking for good sushi and Asian food!

It was my friend and I’d first time checking this place out, we loved the Halloween decor and the live jazz music on Wednesday night. The sushi was great, it’s just the service, we waited 18 minutes for service. If we weren’t so hungry and in that area of town at that time we would have left, we were trying to stare down someone. We would’ve ordered an app, but we just wanted to eat. The table next to us on both sides had a different server and she was prompt and polite and took care of her customers right away. It wasn’t busy at the time either.
Like I said other than our server – that we think we just got unlucky with, the food was amazing.

Nice peaceful quiet ambiance. We come here to have a bite and enjoy some good conversation. Trinh took great care of us this evening. Everything we’ve had on the menu has been a hit! Dynamite shrimp, spicy edemame, and a few different rolls.

I had the pleasure of being served by Lily, Trinh, and Lyna who all made the experience dining here all the more merrier. I came across the collaboration with a matcha pop up and ordered the chirashi over rice set and it was fabulous. I enjoyed the drink and overall would come back again!

This is a beautiful dim light restaurant, perfect for date night. Their are very creative, and fresh. Would definitely love to come back to try other rolls they have. We are so hooked now

Absolutely loved Sushi by The Heights in Houston! Every dish was fresh and flavorful, from the sushi to the beautifully plated desserts. Great atmosphere and such a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!

Went back & Lilly knocked it out of the park. We tried new things! I will post pics. Favorite spot x 10

Walking in the playlist was fire. We were seated and immediately are sweet waiter approached. We let her know it was our first time here, so she went over the entire menu for us. Amazing!
Appetizers:
Calamari 8/10 lite, airy with a little spice.
Fries 10/10 something about sushi and fries sits so right with me.
Main course:
First love roll 10/10 add a side of eel sauce
Dragon roll 8/10 didn’t like the crunch on top but once we took those off much better
Rainbow roll 10/10 oldie but always a goodie
We will 100% come back & order so much more but good for our first time. Also we were told Friday they turn into a speakeasy….. running to that asap.
