Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I can’t say enough good things about our local Whataburger. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by some of the kindest, friendliest staff you’ll ever meet. They truly go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and taken care of, and it makes every visit stand out.
The building itself is spotless, bright, and fresh inside—it’s clear that they take pride not only in their food but also in maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere. It’s been such a great addition to our town, giving everyone a place where they can gather for a good meal in a comfortable setting.
The food is always consistently delicious, just what you’d expect from Whataburger, but what really sets this location apart is the people who work here. The staff makes the experience special and keeps us coming back, not just for the burgers, but for the genuine hospitality.

Love Whataburger. This location has had more misses than hits. Visit today I waited over 20 minutes for a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Somehow the burger just tasted of sweet bread, mustard, and a bacon flavor from La Croix. Not the usual highlight that Whataburger usually delivers. Trash cans overflowing even after watching someone check them. After 1pm so not even peak lunch hour with tons of employees meandering around.

My family stopped here on our way to Florida at 2:30pm. When we arrived the dining room was getting full of people. There were multiples waiting for their food. We placed our order online to be eaten inside. Multiple employees were seen eating over the assembly line. A female employee went to the bathroom with her phone and stayed in there quite a long time while customers wanted to use the bathroom but had to wait on her to come out. She was in there probably 10 minutes or more. We waited 20 minutes for our food and my husband went to the counter to check on our order. A female employee brought our food to him, in a bag that had been sitting on a counter instead of being brought out to us. The food was barely warm and we had to ask for my daughter’s apple slices and ketchup. The dining room had trash scattered throughout. When we first arrived a male employee swept under 1 table and then disappeared to not be seen again while we were there. We will not be back to this location.

This is a low rent burger stand LARPing as a Whataburger.
No napkins. Dirty tables. No booths.
And the topper is some kind of team meeting going on in the dining room. There were like 8 or employees sitting at various tables having a full on meeting. You know, like the kind you’d normally have in the back with people standing. Not out in the customer space.

Don’t trust this Whataburger. 2nd time I’ve been since opening so I’d hoped they’d worked their kinks out. They have not. 5:00 and they’ve had all afternoon to clean but every table was filthy. Floors look like they haven’t been cleaned in a month and the few workers they have are loud and goofing off in the kitchen. Food took 20 minutes to come out and was room temp. Burger was burnt and dried out. More accurately could be described was Whatabeefjerky sandwich special. Just stay away. This is a roadside tourist trap of a Whataburger location.

Having a crazy experience on Mother that Mother’s Day at another Whataburger somewhere far from here, they could not make me a carb free basically no bread sandwich I was in all, but anyhow, this place knocked it out of the park. They did Bacon, but that’s OK. I went back in. They made it for me. I appreciate you guys. This is very delicious and healthy for me.

Just awful. There was one car in front of me to order. After I ordered, there were 3 cars in front of me. 37 minutes after I got in line, I had my food. My incorrect order, pitiful burger (which was as thin as a piece of deli ham) and cold fries. One combo and one kids meal and $18. I wouldn’t leave a bad review if this was our first visit, everyone has an off day. But, this is my 3rd time there and I’ve never been in the drive-thru less than 30 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous for a fast food restaurant. We will never be going back. Keep running it this way and it will be yet another Prattville fast food restaurant to go out of business. Y’all have to fix this.
