I ordered the weekly special, The Glitch Bub, and it was a 10/10. Seriously, it had everything you could want in a burger. Perfect balance, great flavor, and just insanely good overall.
I also grabbed cheese fries with bacon and ranch — another 10/10. If you’ve ever had Portillo’s and loved that onion ring and cheese combo, this takes that experience to a whole new level.
I got everything to go, and even after a 25-minute drive home, it was still amazing. The packaging was flawless — everything stayed clean, fresh, and well organized.
The inside of the restaurant was super fun and inviting too, with arcade games and plenty of seating. I already can’t wait to go back and try more.
(No pictures of the food… I ate it way too fast.)
It has a very lively 80’s arcade feeling interior with pinball machines in the back.
I was really craving a juicy burger after being out in city park during the day and appreciated that this shop stays open later than 6pm.
I ordered an Impossible Rodeo Burger with shoestring fries. Although it was not spicy at all after being described as such, it was a fantastic burger. A real “Americana experience”
With indoor and outdoor seating, this is a great joint for families, solo eaters, friends, and date nights.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere and musical selection as well.
My main point of improvement is:
– Burgers are on the more expensive side, for these prices, they should include fries.
That should be good enough for you to give this place a shot.
I had the Bub Royale and the Degen fries
I already can’t wait to eat at place again.
You like quality burgers?
You like house made ingredients?
Eat here.
Bub’s is one of those places where once you eat it, it sticks in your head — juicy, well-balanced, and cooked just right. No gimmicks, no overthinking, just a solid, well-executed burger that makes you come back sooner than planned.
This place has officially entered my regular rotation, and I’m not pretending otherwise. If you’re in NOLA and craving a proper burger, Bub’s delivers.
