Visited this Prairieville location on Saturday, 2/28/26 around 1:30–1:45 PM. I placed an order for three smoothies while I was the only customer in the store. Two customers who arrived after me received their drinks first, and one of my smoothies was forgotten entirely until I asked about it. No apology or explanation was provided.
When I calmly asked for my receipt and the employee’s name, the employee identified as Michaela responded unprofessionally, stating, “You can report me, I’m about to quit anyway,” and repeatedly told me to leave.
After bringing the smoothies home, my family immediately noticed they were watered down and poor in quality.
The overall experience reflected a lack of professionalism, care, and customer respect. I have contacted corporate and hope franchise leadership addresses the conduct and service standards at this location.

I came to this location on Airline Hwy in Prairieville with my nine year old daughter and no one was visible behind the counter so I called out a few times and after three minutes or so, a young woman walks out of the back office followed by a young man. It was obvious to me by their disheveled appearance that they were doing something very inappropriate in that back office. I was very shocked because this is a place of business. After placing my order I very politely asked for the manager and was told very rudely by the young woman that the manager wasn’t present and she refused to give me the name of the manager. When I looked at my receipt to see the cashiers name, it’s said “chance’s girlfriend”. Instead of complaining about it I decided just to not go back with my kids. However, after a few months, I stopped in hoping the young couple wouldn’t be behind the counter. The same young woman was there. “Chance’s girlfriend”. I could tell she recognized me when I walked in. She immediately rolled her eyes and then had the chutzpah to talk about me in front of my face to the other cashier. It’s too bad that this is the caliber of people companies like smoothie king have to work with.

I could go on and on about my experience at this store. To start, I arrived and sat inside, waiting for about ten minutes. During that time, no one acknowledged me, and the staff looked like they were having a terrible day, which made me feel really uncomfortable. When I finally got the chance to place my order, their response was a loud “Ughhhh,” which I found incredibly rude and off-putting.
After that, I received my smoothie three times. The first time, it was literally just juice—definitely not what I expected. The second attempt was overly icy, making it difficult to enjoy. By the time I got the third version, I was really hoping it would be right. However, when I took a sip, I was met with a taste that was honestly awful. It felt like they had added something I wouldn’t enjoy, like fiber powder or some sort of super grain. It was so unpalatable that I ended up just throwing it away.
Feeling frustrated, I decided to leave without saying much. To make matters worse, as I was walking out, I noticed some of the staff laughing, which felt really disrespectful given my experience. I even asked for their names, but they refused to respond. Overall, this experience was incredibly disappointing, and I would never recommend this store to anyone. It’s clear that customer service and quality are not priorities for them.

I ordered the strawberry hulk to hit my calorie goals for the day and the smoothie was made completely wrong. Had chunks of ice through out it’s clear that they didn’t add the butter pecan ice cream. I even blended it myself again at home and it tasted completely different than any other smoothie king. Terrible. Won’t be visiting this location again.
