Low key one of the best taco spots in the area, and I thought it was just a grocery store until
I dropped by one random day. The lunch tacos are amazing, but the chorizo breakfast tacos are the true gems. Major credit to the to-go boxes — such a genius creation that keeps tacos together — and the friendly service. Lastly, you must order the fresh juice with breakfast, it’s very tasty!

The food here is delicious! It’s the best Mexican food I’ve had in New York City. Most recently I had the birria tacos, which were juicy and flavorful. Burritos are also excellent, but (in my opinion) their BEST item is their soup.
Ultimately, though, my favorite thing about this place is the friendliness and care of the staff. They never fail to make us feel at home.

This family-owned deli and mini grocery store brings the flavors of Mexico and Central American snacks right to the heart of town. Their selection of delicious goods is truly a hidden gem! I ordered the **Milanesa de Pollo Cemita** (a.k.a. sandwich) with extra chicken, extra cheese, jalapeños, and extra sauces on the side—every bite was packed with amazing flavor. My friend’s go-to is the **Al Pastor Burrito**, which never disappoints. To top it off, we indulged in one of their **countertop desserts**, a caramel-filled coconut delight that was absolute perfection. If you’re looking for authentic, mouthwatering food, this spot is a must-try!

Always reliably delicious. Whether it’s lunch or dinner or a snack in between, bowls or tacos (or lunch specials, especially oxtail) los fetches never disappoints!
Their tacos de lengua are my personal favorite need to try item (if they have them!) and the tres leches is always a hit.

This is probably one of my family’s best place to get authentic Mexican food. We love it!! It’s family owned and everyone is always so lovely and extremely accommodating. They have the best food, breakfast, lunch and dinner! You can take out or dine in. You name it, they can make it. It’s also a small market where I can buy groceries and fresh produce for a quick dinner! Everything about this place is fantastic! If you’re ever in Dobbs Ferry, grab some.

Nice little find in downtown Dobb’s Ferry. Tacos are the double tortilla kind with all the trimmings, made fresh in the little kitchen in the back and served with lime slices. I’ve also tried the tortas – also very good – and a fellow customer was singing the praises of the burritos. Very friendly proprietors.

Incredible steak torta.
While I was in there many people came in to pickup orders they called in. Lots of locals.
Really nice people running the store.
Will definitely be back to try just about everything on the menu!
UPDATE: Get the cemita, omg its even better than the torta. The bowls are also really good value and tasty. Can’t go wrong with literally anything at this place. On my list is to try some of the rotating lunch meats w/ beans and rice.

A Hidden Gem for Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Dobbs Ferry
I recently discovered Los Ferchos Deli & Grocery at 90 Main Street in Dobbs Ferry, and it has quickly become my go-to spot for authentic Mexican food. This family-run place, operated by Fernando and Priscila Mendoza, offers a wide variety of Latin dishes and products — and everything is made fresh to order with care.
As a vegan, I was especially impressed by how accommodating they were. I ordered a vegan burrito with no cheese, and it wasn’t just the typical beans and rice combo. It was loaded with fresh, flavorful vegetables, lettuce, tomato, and more — a full, satisfying meal that didn’t feel like an afterthought. You can tell they take pride in every dish they make.
Their tacos are also exceptional, with standout options like birria and bistec for the meat-eaters in the group, and their homemade green chile hot sauce adds the perfect kick. They even have homemade desserts and a selection of hard-to-find Latin American snacks and drinks.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the dedication to quality and authenticity really shines through. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Los Ferchos is a true hidden gem
