I’m not one to leave a review, but after giving this Hwy 55 a chance every Monday for the last 6 weeks, I must. The first 2 visits the food was good. Although we waited for more than 20 min without a line in front of us. Everytime after the food has gotten worse. The burgers are so hard and rubbery around the edge we can’t eat them. The chicken sandwich today (because we gave up on burgers) was SO overcooked you couldn’t even bite through it. The lemonade and orangeade are sugarwater. Theres barely a trace of citrus. I couldn’t even tell which was lemon and which was orange. Even the kids cheeseburgers are so rubbery my kids can’t eat it. There always SO much mayo I have to wipe it off. (And we love mayo!) If we’ve had this experience 6 weeks in a row, I can imagine others are too. I’m starting to see why there’s never a line here…..

I’ve come here many a time and had wonderful food – I usually get the chicken cheesesteak and it’s amazing. Today, not so much. It came out looking like much canned chicken (or cat food). The servers were awesome and offered to have another made. The other one came a few minutes later – not quite their normal, but hey, they chicken was cohesive. However, 1 bite in, I found out that sending it back was a terrible choice, as the new one had a vengeful level of black pepper in it (and I like pepper!), so was inedible after a couple bites.
Not down to one star as they did insist on a discount on the check, despite me saying it wasn’t necessary. I’m not complaint to warn anyone away or say things a bad place, but rather to flag this for management as an opportunity. I plan to be back in a few weeks once they get the chance to hopefully work on some things.

**DANGER PLEASE READ***
The counter top has a some areas that are sharp and will cut a customers skin easily. This is a dangerous situation, when you get customers trying to have lunch (can you imaging not coming back to work, and have to call your boss because you got cut at hwy55 restaurant). I have come more than twice in a two month peroid and there are no fixes. Seems management does not care about customers well being.
Restaurant should focus on safety as well.
Kids menu is also great. Nice place for family, friends and even eat alone. If safety issues gets solved.

This place is gross. I have been here a couple times and every single time it has been awful, both the food and service. The cooks ALWAYS prepare your order wrong. I have had to have sent my burger back to me remade each time. The food is atrocious. Every single thing here tastes like it was doused in grease. You will literally only taste grease with any item you buy here. Just go to the Bojangles.

I should have taken a picture of my food today! It was terrible! I got a Philly cheese steak & chilli cheese FF. The sandwich really looked like they just threw it together! Very sloppy and the taste wasn’t any better! Salt didn’t even help! The French Fries were old! And then put a lot of cheese and chilli to cover them up! I will not be going back to this location! I should have spoken up before paying, but I didn’t.

So disappointed. I came into town to visit family. We don’t have Hwy 55 where I live & I use to love their food & was excited to get some food from there.
The prices has went up and the quality and food amount has went down!!!! All I ordered was a cheese steak with onions and mushrooms. First I paid $12. Which is OUTRAGEOUS for a sub that wasn’t a foot long and was only filled with lots of cheese and a little bit of meat. I didn’t taste or see any onions or mushrooms.
I was so disappointed. I wanted to take it back but I got it through the drive thru and was already down the road when I opened the cheese steak. I couldn’t eat it cuz there was SO MUCH CHEESE AND NO MEAT! I will be contacting corporate on this one.
Y’all need to do better, especially for a sub that’s $12.

Decent food. Chicken sandwich was dry, but always great chili cheese fries. Waitress was great, kept drinks full and very pleasant attitude. Weird thing was sticky floor all the way across restaurant. Overall good experience.

This food…… ooh emmmm gggeeeee!!! GROSS!!! The Philly cheese steak was absolutely disgusting!! Nothing like the pic on the menu at all!! It looked like ground up hamburger with American cheese. Not what I had pictured at all!! Not to mention, our waitress disappeared for most of the time we were there. This was our first time and will be our last. Wow!! Just wow!!

I was going to reach out to HwY 55 to correct this before posting a negative review, unfortunately they make it some what difficult to contact the store directly if order is placed through the mobile app. Ordered 2 Chili cheese dogs with onion rings. Very disappointing to get home and open up these flimsy tin sheets of paper to find doodoodiggons. And then, the onion rings were like rubber. My husband ordered a burger and tots, he made no mention of the burger but the tots were cold! Also ordered dessert, hot fudge brownie sundae and a Oreo concrete. The concrete was meh, but the hot fudge brownie sundae, other than not having any hot fudge, was delicious Absolutely delicious! If I go back it will most definitely be for one of those delicious desserts
