This restaurant is a dining experience! Everything from the atmosphere/decor to the service to the flavors… it is all amazing!!
We started with the wings, which packed a little hit and a lot of flavor. Unfortunately, ours were completely uncooked in the middle, but our waitress took them back immediately to remedy the oversight with so many apologies.
I had the carrot soup and my husband had the grain salad. The combinations of flavors and textures in both dishes was perfection!
I ordered the sausage and hubby ordered the steak. Seriously, every bite was phenomenal. My compliments to the chef! I cannot say enough about how phenomenal our meals were. (Side note, best baked sweet potato I’ve ever had!)
We finished with the ice cream flight. The flavor combinations were unique and delicious.
I love knowing that their menu changes seasonally- I’m intrigued to discover what they’ll do next!
Bonus, when we got the bill, they comped us for the wings, which I thought was generous, since she brought us out fully cooked wings.

I loved the food and the service we received. We were there to celebrate our friends birthday. We started with 2 small plates of the peppers and french fries. They both were delicious. For our main course, 3 of us wanted the smoked chicken, but Unfortunately they were out and our server recommended the pork chops. They were delicious. For dessert we had the ice cream and the cheesecake.
It was a little noisy but overall we had a great time. I would definitely check it out again.

trendy and cozy, service was easy. “Greeting” at the entrance and the overall vibe came across a little pretentious. We ordered two drinks, a steak, a portion of French fries, and the lamb ravioli, and our bill came to $156, tip included. The food was good, but I felt the meals were excessively overpriced. As an Italian (recently moved here), I couldn’t help but compare: in a one-Michelin-star restaurant in Venice or Milan, an entrée can be less expensive than a single dish here. A note for the lamb ravioli: exquisite meat, but it was filled with tangy cream cheese, which I felt overpowered the dish and made it “cheap”. Regular ricotta would have paired better in my opinion. Overall, Fox and Pearl delivers a solid dining experience in a trendy setting, but the combination of price and pretentious vibe made it feel less worth it than I expected

One of the most beautiful restaurant spaces in KC. The building itself is really cool and we spent time just wandering around and taking photos before ordering. There are several seating areas, including a basement, which is accessed from a spiral staircase, and an outside patio area with twisting trees and vinery. The food is really good as well. The portions are not huge, but everything we had was fantastic. Especially the cheese! Will definately go back any time we are in the KC area.

Our appetizer, the Roasted Bone Marrow, came out quickly. The bone marrow was deliciously creamy, and the bread it came with was amazing. Our main courses took almost an hour to come out, with a lack of updates from our waiter. Ignoring that, the Grilled Flat Iron Steak was perfectly cooked and juicy, but it was served warm (almost cold) rather than fresh off the grill. The Smoked Pork Chop tasted like a glorified piece of ham, would not recommend. The Foie Gras Stuffed Burger, one of their daily specials, was not bad. The Pot Pie with braised rabbit was surprisingly good, but two pieces of bones made it less enjoyable. The cocktails are average. The atmosphere was lively and can get pretty loud.

Highly recommend! I’ve watched the menu here for a while and planned a parent’s date night based on their fall menu offerings. The food, drinks and atmosphere were all great. Food takes a while to come out as it is prepared fresh. Very thoughtful cuisine and an eclectic blend of flavors married together seamlessly. Again, highly recommend, don’t let the concise menu dissuade you as it may be tiny but mighty.

Not overly impressed with this place at all. Service was meh.. The rabbit tartine was the only food I really liked. Also the shrub and bub was delicious. I was excited for the bone marrow whatever cheese they put on it does not pair very well with the marrow. My steak was overcooked and tough. The fried quail was bland!

Eclectic restaurant located in the heart of Kansas City just out side of downtown. We came here for the first time on New Year’s Eve and were excited to try something new. I would give the atmosphere and uniqueness of the building a 10/10 as it has lots of character and historic charm. Since it was New Years Eve they did have a set menu. We started out with some cocktails that were delicious and got the pickled vegetables as an appetizer which turned out to be really spicy. For dinner I got the steak which came out cooked perfect. My girlfriend got the Cacio e Pepe and she enjoyed it, but the portion size was pretty small. Overall it was a good experience, I’d come back for cocktails and sit at the bar next time.

This place is an absolute gem! The low lighting and ambiance make for such a cozy and inviting dining experience. I’ve been here a few times for dinner now, and every time, the atmosphere is just perfect. The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Whether it’s a date night or a nice evening out with friends, this restaurant never disappoints.

Recently, a quick stop “for one drink” turned into a few hours of cozy enjoyment at Fox and Pearl. The lights went out because of a thunderstorm – and it made it even better!
The interior is stunning – earthy but upscale.
During my most recent visit I enjoyed ~*Wine Wednesday*~ for a discounted bottle of Merlot. It was delicious. Like I said, we meant to only stay for once drink… but we messed that up a bit. Because of that we ordered mostly appetizers – the Potted Cheese with Ibis Bakery bread and the House Fries. The House Fries are possibly my TOP FAVORITE fries around Kansas City. They’re seasoned to perfection. There’s something sweet about them that makes them extra unique.
Though we skipped an entree this time around, we did not pass on dessert. The Pumpkin Cake with apples and toasted hazelnuts was exceptional.
Ending the night with fries and cake… it couldn’t get better.
