Everything was delicious! I’m Peruvian and I’ve missed my wok-chaufa (fried rice) and trying the special fried rice automatically took me home! Great food and kind staff! Definitely will come back! 🙂

We were regulars at tasty china until tonight. We made a togo order of beef lo mien and sweet and sour chicken with sauce on the side and an order of fried dumplings. We get the food back to our place and the lo mein looks plain I take a couple of bites and its very bland. I scooped into the noodles and didn’t see any beef or vegetables. I then got a plate and dumped it out. No beef or vegetables at all. I I called and the lady answered the phone (if she answers hang up and get food else where) I explained my problem and she didn’t understand. I repeated and she asked me if I wanted beef lo mein . I explained for a 3rd time and she told me to come back up there and she would have a beef lo mein for me. I told her I didn’t want to come all the way back up there tonight. She ummed a few times and told me gain to come back up there. I just hung up and dumped the lo mein back in the bag and drove back up there for a refund. I handed her the bag and told her I wanted a refund on the lo mein just that dish. She asked me if I wanted beef lo mein I repeated that I wanted a refund for the lo mein. SHe then starts looking through the bag and I had to tell her for a 3rd freaking time that I wanted a refund for just the lo mein. I finally got it but she has no business taking orders if she can’t understand english or the check out process.
So after wasting 2 hrs of my time from placing the order with 2 trips there and back with gas being $2.99 a gallon. I will never spend a dine at tasty china again. The proper way to handle this mess up would have been to offer to replace the lo mein on my next visit. The Palace will be open again in Trussville soon so I will just wait till then to have better Chinese food.

I really wanted to like this, but alas I did not. It’s not that the food is bad, because it is not. I respect how fresh the food was. However, it was just so bland. I order the Hot and Spicy Beef. Neither hot nor spicy. The flavor was very one dimensional. To be fair, this is prolly what the market demands, but I would love to see a restaurant deliver authentic and deep Chinese flavor for once. You do get a lot for your money though, so props for that.

We ordered food from here for the first time. We got dumplings, Kung Pao chicken, Szechuan chicken, and it was very bland, with zero spice. I had to add spices to give it even a hint of flavor. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but I was extremely disappointed based on other reviews.

This was my second time going to Tasty China. The man that was at the counter was also the one who was putting the plastic tops on the containers and bagging the food. I saw him multiple times wiping his nose with a tissue and not washing his hands after. He kept coming to the front of the cash register to get a tissue and then went to the back to blow his nose (which was visible from where I was sitting). I was disgusted and appalled that he was anywhere near food as he kept blowing his nose. I didn’t ask for a refund, but that is the last time I go to Tatsty China.

It’s not Palace (R.I.P.) but it’s pretty good! Standard pricing (on the medium side) but you tend to get plenty of food! So that’s a good thing. Some far we’ve had the sesame chicken, mandarin chicken, curry chicken and lemon chicken. And it all seemed really good! Enough to save for another day too!

Delicious 3 happiness, perfect look smells and tastes! Dinner entree portion was enough for two. Perfect egg-roll just slightly small than usual but much much better(hint, get 2). Chicken on a stick generous size portion and plenty to share. Ask for real Chinese mustard and dont settle for the mustard shaped concoction in those take out packets!. Dinning room could handle a good sized group and is neat and clean enough.
Visiting area for the night from out of state, i wish they were in my hometown! Great job and a happy surprise as it was about a mile from Hampton inn.
