Best Ronnie’s in Dallas. Polite employees. They try to be efficient as they can. It’s a popular place so sometimes you will have an extended wait even if you order ahead. Food is 8.5/10 consistently cooked just right. The price is reasonable. It has increased but ok. Just be aware the fillets are not true fillets more like a fillet cut in half. So a 10 pieces is actually what other places would have as a 5 piece. The family sizes comes with salad and fries. And bread so you cam make a sandwhich lol. I have been a big fan of Ronnie’s for awhile . Then the one in South Dallas went downhill selling raw fish. So Im glad to get reacquainted with this location. Better food better people better parking lot. FYI ONLY CASH or you can order on uber eats for pick up and pay via card. Dont get rhe shrimp it is those frozen shrimp from Sam’s . Catfish fillets is the best thing on the menu!!!

LISTEN and listen well…. I ordered some catfish from this restaurant after doing a quick search for good food in the area, as I traveled to Dallas with family. Let me tell you!! I don’t even like catfish like that but boy oh boy was I suprised by what I received. When I tell you I could smell the seasoning and freshness from the bag it’s no joke! This food was so fresh, popping hot, crunchy and FLAVORFUL! Even my dad who was with me commented on how delicious the fish was. There was nothing but silence, just sounds of crunching and munching as my family ate the food – it’s that good! Definitely would recommend 100%, it’s legit greatly prepares fried fish and fries!

The catfish was cooked to perfection and the shrimp was great as well. I’m not big on tartar sauce but the lady recommended the spicy tarter and man she was right!! Very good! I also got a small cup of kool aid and my only regret is not getting a large I can’t wait for my visit back to Texas I plan on coming back next month I love yall!

HIDDEN JEM! This is the best catfish I’ve ever had. It comes out piping hot, the crust is super crunchy and stays on the fish, and the fillet is perfectly cooked inside. Shrimp was crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside. Spicy tarter sauce is great.

Food was made to order. It took about 15 minutes. I had the 4 piece bone-in catfish, fries, & Texas toast. Food was hot, fresh, & seasoned good. The only thing I didn’t like is that it’s cash only. I usually don’t carry cash on me. But, I just happened to have enough cash on me today.

Fish was just okay, asked for crispy but was not. Got the 3 piece bone in and was disappointed. The 3 pieces were random pieces from the catfish. There was only 1 solid decent piece. The other 2 pieces were small from the area of the fish, where you still have that grey skin that’s hard to get off with more fat than meat. Definitely won’t go back again. Hood staples are still hood even when they branch outside the hood, it seems. The location was clean, and there was only one countertop table in there with two chairs, assuming for waiting. However, for the most part, you would just stand up or wait in your car.

This was our first time visiting Ronnie’s Catfish but it won’t be our last. I’m super happy that we decided to try this awesome place out. We ordered the 10 piece catfish filet meal. It comes with a large salad, large fries and buttered toast bread. We also ordered 4 sweet potato pies (one missing due to we couldn’t wait). Everything was delicious. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu.

Staff is super friendly and food is good. I had the bone in fish, it could have been cooked just a little longer. My significant other had the fillet and it was perfect. I wish they had an option of other sides bcus the fries were not good and I dont eat coleslaw. BTW the pies was amazing

Ronnie Catfish off Audelia is that hidden gem that never misses. It’s a true mom-and-pop spot, and every time I go, the fish hits the spot — crispy, seasoned just right, and cooked with love. You know that flavor you only get from the neighborhood spots? Yeah, this is that. No frills, just good food, although the portion are getting smaller it’s still good.
