This shop is beautiful, no denying that! I loved the ube ice cream flavor, and the fish! I do think at this price point they should be using fresh fruit, not frozen. And I also notice that there was a mandatory tip took out when I paid with card…. I just feel like that should be up to the customer, as well as what amount. It took 15ish minutes for two ice creams to be made. All orders are placed via touch screen, so if you’re not familiar you can’t ask questions about select items, just have to guess. Overall, I would go again, but I also think there is room for improvement.

We stopped in on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We ordered the Goat, and it was very yummy! I like the cute swirl all the ice creams have. It didn’t look much like the picture though. Orders are placed through a touchscreen kiosk. The menu items are pretty expensive for what they are, but this is a once in a while treat. We will be back to try the taiyaki!

This specialty shop was absolutely amazing! The husband/wife owners are so friendly and offered us samples even after we bought products. I’ve tried eight or nine different items but my favorite is still the Cheese Foam with fresh strawberry pieces and peach juice. I also really loved the Fomo ice cream dish!! So yummy.

One of the best ice cream places I’ve been to! We walked into the door and immediately we were greeted with a smile. No hesitation. That itself should tell you about the environment of this place. Menu has a VARIETY of items. From sparkling drinks, milkshakes, taiyaki, and even boba tea as well!! I really am in awe that this place is a hole in the wall and you have to really look or you’ll pass it. The way I felt welcomed and also enjoyed such a sweet treat! I give 5 stars!! This place is so kind and welcoming. Please be patient with the staff, there was only two working when we visited. Such an amazing experience overall!

My friends and I went to Dohmo around 10:30 PM, well before their posted closing time of 11 PM. Despite that, the Indian employee on duty told us we had to leave and refused to serve us. What was even more frustrating was that she also turned away other customers who tried to order after us — all while the store should have still been open. It was clear she just didn’t want to serve anyone close to closing time.
This kind of attitude not only ruins the experience for customers but also costs the owner revenue and damages the shop’s reputation. If the store is open until 11, customers should be treated accordingly and allowed to order until then.

Dohmo finally opened!!!! The shop is spacious with minimalist design. You can order through 2 self serve kiosks. They offer ice creams in a cup with variety of toppings, bubble tea, Taiyaki, milkshakes etc. We order Matcha icecream with mochi, and The Goat which is vanilla icecream base with cheesecake bites, lemon cookie bites and graham cracker crumbs. We also got red bean taiyaki on the house. Taiyaki is a Japanese fish shaped cake filled with red bean paste. It’s often sold as street food in Japan. Everything was delicious. The owners and staffs were very welcoming and friendly. Next time, I want to try the taiyaki top off with soft serve, and Ube ice cream here.
