I’d like to take a moment to recognize, the blonde cashier who helped me during my recent visit to El Cupidos. From the moment I walked up to the counter until the very end of my visit, she displayed an outstanding level of friendliness, professionalism, and genuine warmth. She greeted every customer with a sincere smile, spoke kindly, and created a welcoming atmosphere that immediately stood out. The food was delicious!!! Everything we ordered came out PERFECT. i’m still blown away from the customer service she is the type of employee who elevates the entire customer experience. Her kindness makes guests feel valued, and her nonstop effort keeps the store running smoothly. Employees like her don’t just fulfill their responsibilities they strengthen the reputation of the business and make customers want to return. I truly believe her dedication, attitude, and exceptional work performance deserve to be recognized and rewarded. She is an incredible asset to El Cupidos.

You will not believe this hidden gem. The atmosphere does not do the food justice. You would never expect to find some of the most delicious Mexican food in this place, but you will. The people are friendly and welcoming. This has quickly become our go to stop when in St John. I crave the red chili. The prices are not outrageous. I can’t wait to see what they do with the space.

If you happen to be passing through St. Johns, you absolutely have to stop by El Cupidos Express. This place is a total hidden gem. Even though it has a modest, low-key look from the outside, the food is incredible and tastes remarkably fresh. We ordered the burritos and tacos—the portions are generous, and the meat was seasoned and cooked to perfection.
The service is top-notch; the staff is incredibly friendly and efficient, offering that genuine small-town hospitality that makes you feel welcome. The atmosphere is simple and cozy, providing a laid-back vibe without any unnecessary fuss. Located right on West Cleveland St, it’s very easy to find and has convenient parking. It is definitely great value for money!

A staple of St.johns, one visitors tend to recall fondly and are often found returning to anytime they visit. Seen by many to be the best and sometimes only option in town for Hispanic food. Known throughout its history to be consistent in its food and pleasant atmosphere.

It saying it was this place for sure. But.. ordered food for my family and I from here and we all got sick shortly after.. and that’s all we ate till dinner that day.. honestly the cook threw a potato and almost hit the cashier.. then picked it up and threw it back at him.. all laughing of course.. but this was all while he was cooking out meals we ordered.. never once did I see anyone wash their hands.. I love the Big Jake from here.. only I don’t feel like it’s ran up to par.. maybe it was just that day idk but I probably won’t be going back to this one

Best Green Chili and Sausage Breakfast Burrito! Recommended by locals, I stopped in for a quick bite on my way back from the Petrified Nation Forest and was not disappointed. Don’t let the fact that this establishment is in a gas station deter you, this place is awesome. Friendly service, clean establishment, fast service, authentic Food. Don’t pass this one by or you’ll be disappointed.

Place is in a gas station. The Relleno Ahogado and carnitas taco were great.

This is an absolute MUST STOP AT location! They make ridiculously good burritos, from breakfast to dinner.
I’ve had several different types and can’t say I’ve found anything I don’t like. Been to other burrito places nearby and this one takes the cake, and the pie, and the plate.
It’s sharing space with a gas station, so don’t expect fine dining. It’s small – but there are a few booths and they are regularly used, so you may or may not be able to eat in as the place is quite popular locally.
Stop in. Eat here. Often.
