I have to say it took a long time for my food , but never have I ever been offered a beverage while I wait at a fast food restaurant ( which was great) ! At that point I figured it was going to be a bit of a wait. As I am waiting for my food I see the young man that offered me my drink, running in and out taking orders at the window and running orders out. “D” which I believe his name is David was working hard ensuring every customer was getting their correct food order, this young man was on his “A” game while everyone else was looking lost. GREAT WORK “D”! It’s not every day I receive the customer service I received today. Thank you!

On our way to San Antonio, we passed through Robstown and decided to stop by this Popeye’s—and we’re so glad we did! The chicken was incredibly juicy and fresh, cooked to perfection. The woman at the counter was super friendly and made us feel right at home. Great food and excellent service—highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area!

I went to the robstown Texas location and was going to get the bone in wings buy one get one free and I’m assuming the manager or whoever she was told me all stores do it but she personally doesn’t sell those here because of low sales I would have to buy the wings in one order and not get the 2nd for free. If that’s the case they need to take it off the menu because that is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!

If I could I would give this place half a star. I went in early Sunday morning to get a box of chicken for a work crew. Nobody was at the counter, I’m like ok it’s early. There was chicken already made that looked cold & old probably the nights before. I asked the cashier for a boxed of FRESH mixed chicken. She just looked at the register, I Daud again . You gonna drop it fresh , she handed me , my change. I said I don’t want old chicken. Please make it fresh She said, ok and handed me my change. I waited for a good 10- 15 min. She called out my receipt, I got the bag saw the old chicken missing from the rack. I said again , it’s fresh huh? She said, yes. Took it to the crew. Where they sent me pictures of the old, cold, nasty chicken. I went back to popeyes to find out the cashier was actually the manager. Who lied in my face, talking about I put that on my kids it was fresh chicken. No ma’am I got the pictures, these people aren’t lieing. I said the old chicken was gone, what did you do with it, she said I gave it to other people. She was lieing and put it in my box. She told the cook to remake my order grabbed her little backpack her car keys and left…smh…If this is your manager running this place it’s sad!!

It’s called the last bite,after going 30 min to closing time with my annoying joking in which I think it was funny,she kept her cool n served us what we ordered,the spicy chicken sandwich n fries were fresh that I enjoyed it to the LAST BITE,it’s not a 5 star cause my “iced sweet tea” had no ICE n I wasn’t able to read the menu board cause its missing all the light bulbs on it….
