Islandville is hands down my favorite Jamaican spot! I live in Bridgeport, CT, and I will happily drive 20 minutes just to get their chicken Rasta pasta, it’s that good. Honestly, every dish I’ve tried has been amazing.
Chef Keem is incredibly talented, and you can taste the love in every bite. Melissa, the waitress and bartender, always goes above and beyond. Her customer service is top-notch and makes every visit even better.

Did they switch owners or just cooks? The other times I’ve had this food it was amazing! This last order was missing half of what was supposed to be in the dishes. The ingredient portions were not as abundant. The yucca patties tasted like grease.

been here a couple times, the chicken rasta pasta is my favorite! the atmosphere is great, and the service is awesome, jodi and her staff are so kind, make sure you have what you need and are very attentive and friendly, will be back for sure! 🙂

I use to come often when it was island villa. Didn’t realize it’s under new ownership and new name. I got my stew chicken and I was not happy at all. It doesn’t taste the same from the previous owners. My husband even tasted it and he said there is no flavor whatsoever. Unfortunately I have to find a new place

I have been going to this restaurant for the past few years and always enjoyed my food as of recently something has changed and it’s just not the same. The prices are extremely high and the food is not that great. I never have a problem paying for what I want. But the food must be worth it. I will not visit again.
