It all began in 1992 when Frederico Viliermo opened the first Mexican food restaurant in Newark, DE. Nowadays it’s a restaurant chain that offers authentic food, friendly atmosphere and good service. We hope that our restaurant will be a place where guests of all ages could come together to experience the unique flavors, along with the art and culture of Mexico – all in a casual setting.

Tacos are pricey for a single tortilla but that’s just me being used to always having 2 tortillas at other places. The food was delicious and they give you an assortment of salsas and pickled onions with havaneros. You do not just sit down and get your order taken you actually have to line up and order at the register then pay for your food and get a table. I was happy to see many different flavors of Jarritos and the restaurant also has botanas like elotes, ice cream, fried chips and a separate bar area. Both times I’ve been there I’ve noticed it’s been very busy but I’ve always gotten a good table because most of the line was for To go Orders .
Does not offer chips or salsa like other restaurants so make sure to order those. I would definitely had given a 5 stars if I didn’t have to get up and wait in line to order my food but again that’s what I’m used to at restaurants like these.

I’ve only given it 4 stars because I’m spoiled and have been to high end Mexican style restaurants. The food was good, the music was pretty loud, that could have been brought down a few decibels, or if it was the weekend it would be normal, the service wasn’t bad at all, great bartenders. I’d definitely go back.

We were pleasantly surprised with these delicious takeout tacos! So tasty with fresh ingredients and large portions. The service was friendly and fast as well. Bathrooms were super clean.

First time visiting. Very good service. Everyone was very friendly. The food was okay, I tried four different types of tacos. They all had good portions and full of meat but the steak needs more seasoning. They also need salsa or taco sauce as I was not a fan of the sauce that was given. One of them was very bland the other was just spicy but neither was flavorful.
I tried the mangomargarita It was delicious but it was a bit over priced once I got the bill. They don’t have any specials or happy hour which was strange for a bar and they don’t have prices posted so really could have been charged anything. I would visit again.

The food great ,large portions all fresh, family friendly in one side the other a bar with loud music, we had the fry fish and torta the carnitas pork, the kitchen and bathroom clean all the area was clean. It’s a super busy place that is why food is fresh, and really no time to greet or seat guests , so please go straight to order your food and drink and wait patiently till they get a minute to get your order after that all good don’t expect anyone to ask how was the food ,food is great, after you finished eating please pick up your plate and put it away. No fancy here just good food for hungry people. Oh i almost forgot they make Fresh corn tortillas and your utensils are on top your food inside a white bag, . TMI

I had the flower & black bean & cheese papusa which were very tasty and my friend had the Mofongo soup and he said it was delicious. The only issue I had was the wait staff is rude unless you speak Spanish which my friend does so I was ignored placing the order until he spoke Spanish and asked that my order be taken.

Tasty tacos al pastor! Some places shred the meat but here they grill it, resulting in more flavor! The onions and cilantro are very finely diced and melt into the meat. We also enjoyed the beef fajita platter. Generous amount of meat and good flavor. The pupusas were a good size cooked fresh and had the right amount of char. Pickled cabbage tasted great. The horchata was refreshing. Will return soon to try the desserts!

Next time hold your sink with something else, not only caulk, it leaks and becomes a slippery risk then can be sued and lost all. Well at least will be cheaper to repair the sink.
