The food is terrific. It’s a small, very busy, sports bar in a small town. However, the food is above par for this type of establishment quality wise. In terms of cost, it’s on the expensive side. A Cobb salad and tater tots were just under $27. The waitress served my food and never checked by again until she saw I was clearly done and waiting on the check. She was friendly.

Small hometown bar in New Pal. Cool vibes and great staff. I was lured there by a recommendation that it had “the best pizza”. I ordered wings as well. The Carolina Gold traditional wings were very good even if they were heavy on sauce. The pizza however was a disappointment. The crust was wet and limp. Although the overall taste was good, I wish the slices had not been soggy. I’d be willing to give it another try because it seems like a cool bar but I may try something else from their menu besides the pizza.

UPDATE: It seems as if there has been a change. Maybe it was just because it was a weekday, but it seemed more family friendly than before. There is some new seating and the menu has changed. Unfortunately the Carolina Gold wings are no longer an option. I was much happier with the pizza. It was very tasty with a crispy crust and plenty of toppings. I’ve upgraded my rating from my first review to reflect that.

I’m giving a five star because we didn’t experience 1 bad thing. The waitress came to our table within 3 mins of us sitting. For a Saturday 3pm they weren’t super busy. Our food didn’t take much time for us to receive either. We were passing thru and wanted something new to try. We will definitely come back again. I had ordered a bowl of Chilli, which I enjoyed w/ a salad. My better half had Tachos which he loves making at home. Tater tots were crispy just how I them. His Frisco Melt was delicious he said.

We had a large group of 9 descend on this quaint pub right at there busiest hours – dinner time!! Even though they were jammed packed , our server was awesome!. All of us couldn’t make up our minds what to eat, we were so busy catching up on each other but he waited on us patiently, got every order correct, and didn’t mind when we asked for separate checks. The food was fried to perfection with the most tantalizing breading. The bartender, Christy kept our glasses full and our table clean and chatted it up to show off the place. We loved it. This is a must stop by have a beer and feel welcomed place!!!! The entire family can come here !

The meal was decent. We order steak and well we should’ve got something like pub food. The steaks were over done over priced and underseasoned. They were nice and super friendly! The atmosphere was very relaxed. The portions were large and the food was hot! Overall 4 stars but if they fix the price or the quality of the steak you may have a 5 star experience!! The cheese pizza with breadsticks and cheese sauce was a kids meal!!

I had the pleasure of stopping in here while I happened to be going through this town.
I ordered the traditional bone in wings. The smallest order is 10 wings (I definitely couldn’t eat more than that). I really wanted to try the General Tso’s and the mild wings. I asked if I could have half and half, only to be advised they don’t offer that in 10 wings, they only offer it for the 20 wings. I definitely can’t eat 20 and I still had another state to drive through on my trip, so taking any to go was not an option . I was really disappointed.
I ordered the mild wings. They were a little vinegary for my taste but my hubby loves the vinegary kind! The sauce was a little watered down but otherwise pretty good. My husband got the inferno and said they weren’t that hot, but were still pretty tasty.
The service was fast and friendly.
If I ever stay in that area again I will stop and try the 20 piece to take with and give a fair review of a few other flavors! All in all good service and pretty good food!

Stopped in on my thru town and was surprised at the variety of the menu for a small town bar. Had one of their lunch special available through the week, and it was tasty. Only had one waitress covering the bar and dining room, but she was right on top of everything and friendly. Looking forward to trying this place again.

Fantastic food, great quality and very friendly staff. Awesome place to chill, watch sports and eat good food. Really nice atmosphere! Shrimp Po’Boy is excellent, as are the sweet potato fries.

Went for lunch. Ordered a chicken sandwich and onion rings. Unfortunately the onion rings were Luke warm. My friend ordered the BLT. The bacon was in small broken up pieces. It looked old and not much in between the bread. Typically food is good. Not sure what happened this time around.
