Delicious!! This is the first time in years I was able to eat a Biscuit Sandwich with a Gluten Free Biscuit!! The Main Biscuit Sandwich comes with two sausage patties, egg how you want it made and choice of cheese; much better than McDonalds!! All regular and gluten free biscuits are made in house fresh daily from scratch!! This is a Take Out/To Go Place Only. You can order online, on DoorDash or walk in to order. Will definitely be back!!

I DREAM of this biscuit! This is a Nashville Hot Chicken biscuit. Its a huge piece of chicken, rolled in Nashville Hot Sauce, on a fresh, fluffy biscuit, a fried or scrambled egg and a few slices of pickles. Since you can customize any biscuit, I was able to get cream cheese on it but you can also choose pepperjack, cheddar or American cheese. THANK YOU Broadway Biscuit Co for bringing THE BEST breakfast to Cape Girardeau! I WILL be back!

So easy to place our order online & everything was hot and ready when we arrived to pick up. The slingers are amazing and a massive portion! The sausage egg and cheese biscuit was incredible – so tasty and also a large portion!
Can’t rave enough about the strawberry biscuit too – I requested the biscuit be heated and it was SOO good! Prices seemed reasonable for the massive portions and great quality. They’ve become a staple in my week for sure!

When your business is built around “biscuits” you really hope that they nail a biscuit and they truly do!
Fluffy, buttery, crispy bottom, and the perfect size.
My boyfriend and I got two things to split and we definitely didn’t need to get two things. We could have just shared a sandwich and been satisfied. Portions are huge!
We got the river city basket and the Ellis sandwich. Both were awesome.
They were slammed right at open but still cranked out our food in a timely manner.
We will be back!!

I recently tried Broadway Biscuit Co and wow, what a treat! The food was absolutely delicious; you can tell they care about the quality. Every bite was a little piece of heaven, with flavors that were perfectly balanced and incredibly satisfying.
​If you’re looking for a fantastic meal that won’t break the bank, I’d highly recommend checking them out. It’s definitely worth every penny for the taste you get. You won’t be disappointed!

An unfortunate first time experience

Tldr: our young child had a bathroom emergency while waiting for our order and staff made no effort to help or make us feel like they cared

We came on a Saturday morning with our 3.5 year old as we were heading home from some errands. The signs say you should be prepared to wait 30 minutes for food; which is ok and we get for a new place, and so we ordered, sat and waited. After about 20-25 minutes our child who is just recently potty trained had to use the restroom. We were told no by the front counter staff but it was increasingly clear he couldn’t hold it and it was unknown how much longer we’d be waiting for our order.

Another gentleman waiting for his order came to our child’s defense of how ridiculous it seemed to not let a child use the employee bathroom while we wait a long time for our food. He became very upset and was shouting at the staff trying to do what he thought was needed to help a child. A worker from the back came out and started shouting back saying they still can’t help because the health department won’t let anyone walk through the kitchen to get to their bathroom. Other gentleman left very upset at the establishment and asked for his order to be canceled, threatening bad reviews etc. the worker basically told him ‘go for it leave a bad review and don’t come back’. All extremely disappointing as a first time customer whose child was just having a potty emergency while we were trying to support a new business. The other customer was just trying to stand up for our son, no violence was threatened or anything like that; he was just demonstrably upset for us and he left on his own without further escalation.

I was very disappointed to see how the staff handled this. There seemed to be very little care or regard for our child needing to use the bathroom (again, we had already been waiting for about 25 minutes). No attempt at finding another bathroom. Nothing. Just a “sorry deal with it” attitude and that was that. My wife walked down the street until finding a store that would let him use the bathroom (thank you Dollar General) while I waited another 10 minutes for our food. when we left with our food there was no apology from management or follow conversation up about what had transpired

Food was great but probably won’t go back for a while. The lack of professionalism and care to help a customer in a tough situation was disappointing. It would have been very easy for the staff to be more empathetic and try to help our child get to a bathroom while waiting for our order instead of seeming blowing off the situation.

Edit: after seeing the owners initial response before it was edited with more apologies, I’m even more disappointed. Im sure other parents will see through this attempt at justifying the owners (lack of) action. Front staff knew the child wasn’t with the shouting customer. There was zero follow up or attempt made by the owner to understand the situation better after the shouting customer left. Went back into the kitchen and assumed everything was ok. Never talked to my wife, me, or the other family waiting for food to see if everyone was ok. After seeing the owners response to a review about dry biscuits, I probably shouldn’t be surprised. Won’t be going back.

Amazinggggggg staff and food! You walk in and just KNOWWWW their heart is in this. Soft HUGE fluffy biscuits in any way possible you can think of! Sweet? They got it! Savory? Heck yeah!! Gluten free??? YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT! I cherish this place!

Atmosphere is clean, no indoor seating – ordered three items will rate them individually

Biscuits and Gravy full side – massive portion, enough for two people. Tastes like Sysco brand sausage gravy like you would have at a hotel – the biscuits as everyone else has suggested are perfect. 3/5 as the sausage gravy leaves much to be desired

French toast biscuits — very good, will order again. Not a huge portion, would recommend supplementing with a side if youre hungry. 5/5

Mocha Latte – ordered decaf, was very good if not a little on the expensive side at 7.50 which is a touch higher than most the coffee houses in the area. Really dang good drink.

Broadway Biscuits Co. is a treat and we will be coming back, and for anyone in the area that hasn’t had it, I think it’s among the strongest breakfast spots you’ll find in cape.

Side note – the included plasticware is on the chintzy side, had trouble cutting mah biscuits’.

I was disappointed with both the pricing and the wait time. The biscuit was dry, and I was unable to finish even half of it. The gravy lacked flavor, which added to the overall unsatisfactory experience. Ultimately, I had to discard part of my meal and go elsewhere for a proper meal. I would not recommend this establishment unless you enjoy bland food or do not mind overpaying. This place could improve significantly with better food quality and more reasonable pricing.

I want to start this off by saying my sandwich was really good. I’ll likely be back at some point when I feel like really splurging on breakfast for another sandwich. More on that later, but I don’t want it to get lost in the wall of text. Now then, we also tried an order of tots and an order of B&G. Avoid the tots. It’s just store bought, frozen tater tots that they don’t even deep fry that they have the gall to charge $6 for. The “generous serving” is about a cup and a half of tots served in a sealed cardboard container that steams out whatever semblance of crispiness they may have achieved with their method of cooking entirely so you just have chewy potato nastiness in a wet cardboard container. Just gross. The B&G was fine. There’s nothing special about it. The gravy has the same consistency as the stuff you’d get from Hardee’s or whatever other fast food place and the biscuit is good, but once you pour that much gravy on it, it really doesn’t matter. I can’t recommend the plain B&G as it’s simply not worth the price tag. The sandwich was the bright spot. It’s huge and it’s pricey, but I’d get it again. The value isn’t there, but it’s worth splurging on occasionally. The reason the service rating is so low – I ordered online in advance as their website suggests and from the time I ordered to the time I received my meal was close to an hour. The employees were friendly, so this rating was very much not about that. I’m not sure what their process is on preparing these items, but they desperately need to refine it. In the 40 minutes I was in the lobby, they handed out 3 orders. The wait isn’t long because they’re busy, it’s because their turnaround is too slow and it’s not going to be sustainable in the long run. I hope they get it figured out because, again, the sandwich was really good.

Quick edit to respond to their reply – the menu says $5.50 for the tots and that’s what I was charged. Also I was there two days ago. I hope it was just a weird hour and they normally clear more than 10 orders in an hour because they averaged under five while I sat in the lobby.
