Finally got to get out to the Channel Cat Fish House. This waterfront restaurant is serving up some delicious food! We visited the Saturday before Father’s Day and it was a happening little place. We sat outside, There’s indoor seating as well. The restaurant has plenty of parking. We started with the hush puppies for an appetizer and there’s just one problem there wasn’t enough they were served with their homemade sauce that also comes with this fish. The cod, catfish, and shrimp all appeared to be hand battered/breaded. They have beer battered onion rings, broccoli slaw, fries and a few other sides. Everyone loved their food and we’ve decided this is our new Summer hangout. You can boat, kayak and then enjoy a beautiful meal all at this location. Food was delicious, cozy waterfront vibes, can’t wait to go back.

Some of the best we have had around here Chicken sandwich was cooked well with great flavor, not greasy but needed a tomato blackened catfish tacos were perfect Just the right amount of heat, 3 street tacos with lots of flavor cooked well

This is as good as it gets! Cool little place, extremely clean and delicious! I had the fisherman’s platter and it was huge, recommended. She had the blackened catfish tacos and they were amazing. Check them out! It’s right near the Bulleit distillery.

Never had been before. Great staff. Very clean. Great looking patio. We’re both had cod sandwiches, huge portion of fish and great tasting fries. Definitely worth the trip to hang out at the River.
