Please call to make a reservation or make a reservation via our website, google, or open table! Last seating: Monday-Thursday is 8:45pm, Last call at 9pm. Friday and saturday is 9:15pm, Last call is 9:30pm All reservations have a 1.5 hour dining time. Walk-ins are also accepted with availability. Parties of 5 or more have a 20% gratuity added. Please include children in your party size. If you have a very large party, please call us. Our parking lot is located after our restaurant, on the left.

Delicious and fresh! We had the beet salad, a few different rolls, and Da Bao. The bao was not my favorite although the bun itself was super pillowy and good. The rolls and salad were incredible! Wish they had a few more non-spicy options on the menu

Amazing specialty roll options for vegetarians/vegans! Come here for the unique stuff – The Wedge and the Point Reyes rolls were so rich in texture and flavour.
Their happy hour deals are good but those options are more forgettable – gyoza was nothing to write home about and the nigiri was good but not the best.
The only picky note I have is on the ambience – the plates are izakaya style but the vibe isn’t quite what I expected. The tables were organized resto style and it wasn’t the cozy, lively vibe I’d associate with izakaya. Neither here nor there – doesn’t matter if u eat meat or not, come for the specialty rolls.

Great food. Ordered 2 sushis, gyoza (they were ok), avacado roll and buns. Lovely modern restaurant. The wedge roll was great but other one was good too.

TANE Vegan Izakaya was hands down the best place we ate in Waikiki no contest. Fully plant based Japanese food that somehow manages to be creative comforting and completely next level.
The sushi was unreal the appetizers were amazing and the cheesecakes were dangerously good. We ordered one thinking we’d share and immediately realized that was a rookie mistake.
We went back twice and we were only in Waikiki for three days which honestly tells you everything. If we had stayed longer this would’ve turned into a problem.
The service was outstanding too warm attentive and genuinely excited about the food which somehow made it taste even better.
If you’re vegan or just love incredible Japanese food do not miss this place. Still thinking about it. Still dreaming about it. Already planning a return.

Good food. We tried the wedge and point Reyes specialty rolls and Eryngii nigiri. I really liked them all however they are little pricey. Other than that, ambience was cozy, parking can be a challenge.

Had an incredible dinner here with my partner. We got 4 sushi rolls. The Ewa and Manila Dune were our favorites. Also loved the Da Bao. They had a ube cheesecake that was delicious too along with some complementary hot tea. Our server and the hostess was so nice. I don’t remember her name, but she was wonderful.

This was my first trip to Hawaii with my family. I went to a Japanese restaurant and ordered a bowl of miso soup. The miso flavor wasn’t as rich as in other restaurants I’ve been to before. The dishes were all made with vegetables, roots, seaweed, and rice, served with sauce, and they were quite delicious and visually appealing.

Had a great dinner at Tane Vegan Izakaya. The food was very good, creative and well put together. What really stood out was the space. It has a cool, minimalist Japanese vibe with warm lighting and thoughtful details that make it feel calm and inviting. The menu is unique and well curated, with interesting vegan takes on classics and fusion. A relaxed, stylish spot worth visiting.

We went during happy hour and enjoyed their selection of hand rolls and appetizers! Overall the food was amazing and the ambiance was nice for a dinner date.
We got the halewa and pololu hand rolls, the sunset and paradise cove specialty rolls and the spicy tofuna roll, all of which I would rate 10/10!

This is hands-down the best vegan sushi experience that I’ve had in Hawaii or on the mainland. My family and I come here all the time — especially for celebrations. I like that it’s a fancy enough experience to feel like a celebratory place but you can also roll in wearing athleisure and feel totally comfortable.
Every single dish that I’ve tried is amazing – from the specialty rolls to the shared plates and ramen. Everyone I bring here, including, non-vegans, are blown away by the flavor and the service (Ana is the absolute best!).
