Wow. I had no idea how delicious and flavorful everything was!!.This is the closest I’ve found to Texas BarBQue since my arrival 12 yrs ago. What an amazing business model and the way they give back to first responders, vets and all branches of service. I stumbled upon this place cause I was in the neighborhood running an errand.. so grateful I did too. Their chopped brisket was by far the best I’ve ever had, anywhere, ever.. Someone heard this was my first time and she brought me samples of all their sides and Oh Mm Gee. Their banana puddin’ was almost as good as Ms Gossett’s from Brock TX .
I will be back. If y’all are even close to this place, or actually they have 40 restaurants in the U. S., see if there is one close to you.

This is an order at the counter style restaurant. There was ample seating when we were there. The staff was friendly amd attentive even though they technically don’t have wait staff. Food was tasty for the most part. The pulled pork was good for a chain restaurant. Green beans were good as well. The cornbread was dry. The mac n cheese was good until the end when I had to use a knife to cut some parts that were a little charred. I didn’t necessarily mind the char, it was just too stuck together. The baked beans were not that good, a little too sweet. Overall though, everyone enjoyed their meals. A sample platter of the sides was brought out to me since it was my first time there. I don’t usually east some of the items, but my party said the potato salad and greens were very good.
There was ample parking as it is in a shopping plaza. Restaurant was clean. Drinks are self serve.

This was my first time here. Eating out is very difficult for me. I’m Celiac and allergic to onions. The staff was amazing! They looked at all the ingredients before I ordered to make sure I was safe. The food was spectacular. Brisket, hand cut fries in a dedicated fryer, baked beans with brisket. My partner had brisket and pulled pork, they gave him a sample of all the sides, he said they were all very good, especially the collard green with bacon. Amazing!!! Everybody was so friendly, so helpful, so patient. I work across the parking lot from them. My new favorite lunch spot.

First time trying this delicious treat. Staff very friendly. My friends sausage was too hott and Kirk replaced it for a diffrent meat with the best customer service I’ve ever experienced!!! Hands dwn best bbq in sarasota!!!!

I’ve had Mission BBQ at church events and it was good but not great…. So today I decided to try in restaurant for the first time…. I WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZED!!!! It almost tasted like completely different food…. Maybe they catered stuff sits around too long and totally dries out but in restaurant was soooo fresh! I ordered the brisket sandwich, the brisket was seasoned well and melt in your mouth perfect!!!! I also ordered Maggie’s Mac n cheese and coleslaw… both were very good!! Not only was the food amazing but the staff and ambiance were as well!!! I’m so glad that I gave them a try, I highly recommend Mission BBQ!!

What a wonderful experience! They were all Exceptionally Kind to us. And the food is AMAZING. They were very patient explaining the menu and giving us samples. The attendants Jamie and Willio are extremely charismatic and kind. Jamie had a nice conversation and wrote a note for us in Portuguese, after learning we were Brazilians. That was particularly sweet and welcoming. We’ll definitely come back often!

We had an amazing time here at mission bbq for the first time ever because of none other than Jamie ! She has been the best person to have assisted us ! She has made this trip to mission bbq sarasota so memorable for me and my friends by greeting us, talking to us and explaining what the best choices are and we were extremely satisfied and happy ! We visited for the first time and we are so glad we did ! Jamie is an awesome employee for mission bbq Sarasota! I ordered catering for about 15-20 people for my daughter‘s fourth birthday party. This stress-free approach meant that I could enjoy all of the birthday celebrations, knowing that the food would be incredible – and it was!
Great selection, wonderful sides, plus a surprising balance of kid friendly foods with adult favorites!
Here’s the best part. It’s now a day later and I’m cleaning up from all the pink and purple balloons- when I just noticed that the entire team at Mission BBQ signed a birthday card for my daughter! Talk about going the extra mile with customer service!!! Fantastic work all around from Mission BBQ!

This was our first time in a Mission BBQ and the manager Jamie made it such a wonderful experience. She offered us samples of the sides which surprised us ( changed our side picks. Normally would do fries and Mac, but I personally lived the collard greens), and she gave us some history of the company and their amazing impact! Wonderful company! Highly recommend!
