Great organic restaurant in the heart of Wrigleyville. Greenstar brewing is also on site. The food is very tasty and they go the extra mile to use sustainable ingredients across the board. The staff is excellent and the vibe is vibrant and cozy. I highly recommend a reservation and if you have a concert at Metro or are heading to Wrigley, this is a great pre game spot.

Fantastic spot for breakfast or lunch just a short walk from Wrigley field. Service was very attentive with the owner even coming to all the tables to ensure our experience was going well. The good was delicious and our whole table cleared our entire plates. I highly recommend the scrambler. Lots of windows up front and multiple rooms to sit in the back as well as a beautiful covered patio. Any time I am in Wrigleyville I plan to go back.

Food is fine and service is awesome but this SINGLE piece of bread cost $5. I live exactly 2 blocks away, and it didn’t arrive warm enough to halfway melt butter.

This is one of my favorite places when visiting Chicago. The risotto and pot pie were both good. Friendly service. They do take reservations.

Loved the food here. It was my first time, and was amazed at how good they are. Their carrot cake is very yum!! Oh, and their coffee’s good too. Service was great, friendly, and polite. And I loved the vibe of the place and art hanging on their walls.

The perfect Sunday brunch spot! The Salmon Eggs Benedict, Breakfast Sammie, and Lemon Blueberry Pancakes were all so good in their own ways. We sat outside on the patio which was lovely, but the inside of the restaurant is homey, bright, and eclectically decorated, also. Our server, Daniel, was warm and helpful. We will definitely be back again!

I came here for brunch after running a 5k in Wrigley. Nothing hits quite like a mimosa after a good run, so I had to order the mimosa flight. They were pretty tasty and had a good variety of flavors.
For food, I got the chilaquiles. Being basically breakfast nachos, they have everything you could ever want. Uncommon Ground has some of the better chilaquiles I’ve had in the city.
They have a cute outdoor space as well as seating inside. The bees were out and they love juice, so it made more sense to sit inside which is a shame because it was a beautiful day. Hopefully some other time I can sit outside.
Lastly, the service was very good. They were very accommodating and food came out very quickly.

The great thing about a big city like Chicago is you can stumble upon places like Uncommon Ground. Walking back to our hotel we randomly stopped in for a beer, very glad we did. Bartender was convivial, answered all of our questions about the beer and gave us a little history of the business. The beers we tried were really outstanding. Keeping this place on the list for our next trip to Chicago.

Swung by Uncommon Ground in Lakeview last weekend—love that they’re all about sustainability and local vibes. I ordered the fried Wisconsin cheese curds and the apple, walnut, and blue cheese salad. The cheese curds were crispy and hit the spot, but the salad felt a bit underwhelming for the price. Service was friendly, but things moved kinda slow, and we had to flag someone down for refills. Dropped about $35 before tip, which felt a tad steep given the portion sizes. Cool spot with a chill atmosphere, but not sure it lives up to the hype—might give it another shot, but it’s not at the top of my list.
