The ownership changed after the bar was closed for some time, and let me tell you, Darryl is amazing. The drink prices are awesome, not super upcharged for warm beer like most other places in town. He has good plans for TJ’s and his bartenders are pretty darn cool. My dad is going to retire from the mill soon and it’s nice to be able to visit now and then and reminisce on my days of kiddie cocktails and iced tomato juices. I do have to say that not having to smell smoke is a nice perk now, but if you’re accustomed to it, there is a large space out back you can step out to!

The place to be.! You know when you’re just tired of the same ol’ same ol’.. Well I say hit up this spot.. Newly operating kitchen, nice menu items.. COLD beer & loose slots. Free pool table (although they could use see new cues) dart board, indoor & outdoor horseshoe pits – dirt & clay.. as well as plenty of seating…

Barmaid seemed to distracted to me. I walk up to the bar to get is some drinks and I’m waiting and waiting. Now I understand that the folks at the bar were there 1st. But I get nothing Not I’ll be with you in a moment nothing. Then one of the regulars walks up and she waits on him 1st. Then ask me what I need. So she gets me my drinks. I give her my money and I’m waiting on my change phone rings. So she answers it. Now I’m waiting while she’s on the phone. She comes to me hands me my change doesn’t say a word and out the door with the phone She goes ! Enough said. Won’t be going back !
