I recently visited Barb’s Pizza in Clawson, Michigan, and it quickly became one of my new favorites for casual comfort food. The pizza is great—crispy crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of cheese that makes every slice satisfying. But what really stole the show were the phenomenal pasties; flaky, hearty, and packed with flavor that reminded me of homemade goodness. The chili was awesome too—rich, spicy, and perfect for dipping or enjoying on its own. Pasties are good and reasonably priced I like how they cut the potatoes and carrots lots of onion and fillings not a whole lot of meat the few times Ive gone but the meat on it seems to be high quality and not hamburger meat like most . Chicken had even less meat than bed. The gravy is good but not necessary in my opinion. I will return the only better pastie I have tried as of now is my own lol . Enjoy !

This pizza is so good! My husband is from Pittsburgh where you find more pizza shops than dandelions and he thinks this is the best in SE Michigan. And I agree! I ate two slices on our way home. Can’t wait to try other things from the place.

My family’s been getting pasties here as long as I can remember! I live in Sterling Heights and there are pasty places around the corner, but we make the special trip out to Clawson for Barb’s, they’re the best! You also can’t forget their cookies(especially the peanut butter), and their carrot cake is also my favorite . I always leave with multiple pasties and desserts!

Actually stopped in for business, and the smell was so good that after I walked out and took 3 steps, I turned around and went back inside to buy some pasties.
As someone that grew up eating pasties in the UP, I really have no idea how I haven’t stopped in here sooner. I guess you live and learn, because the immediate childhood nostalgia and the SMELL hit so hard when you’re inside.
I grabbed two beef pasties with gravy. They are huge. They are filled to the brim. The crust is so good. The filling is so good. The gravy is so good.
I wanted to take some pictures but before I knew it…my wife and I had absolutely smashed them and they were gone.
This is definitely a spot that you try once, and it’s suddenly just in your rotation. Highly recommended.
