I really enjoyed my lunch at Paul’s Deli. This place has a very large menu with subs, Italian specialties, seafood, Greek specialties, burgers, salads, pizzas, and more. With so many great options to choose from, I ended up ordering the Doug (Guido) Annakin Italian Sub, which included ham, genoa salami, cotto salami, provolone, onions, hot peppers, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and Greek dressing. This was truly an ultimate sub. The overall environment is very casual with sports memorabilia and pictures on the walls. I highly recommend Paul’s Deli.

The waiters are so nice and sweet, you don’t even have to wait that long to get food and drinks after you order as well!

They do not skimp on toppings, stacks of pepperoni. WE were a party of seven and we got two pizzas. ONLY FINISHED ONE. HUGE GYRO SERVINGS AND COMES WITH A SALAD AND PASTA. Nice place to get a bite. Does look like a fun place for the college students to hang out in, especially the weekends. William&Mary is just across the street. There’s a great selection to order from, have a dessert case and a bar in the middle of the restaurant. Food was fine, we had sandwiches like the Philly, steak&cheese and a shrimp po boy. Our server there was great. From outside, doesn’t look like it’s big, but it’s a good size place. I really like the local vibe to it. Great hang out place and to watch college football

Nice college bar atmosphere. Employees were stoner friendly. Greek fries were pretty crappy. Burnt fries with nothing other than feta dumped on them that fell off when you picked them up. Only had to wait 20 minutes for the bartender to realize they were sitting on the shelf ready.

I am an international student and I was scammed by this place.
We had a great team building event during our residency week at College. And we were awarded with $40 vouchers to spend time at this place after the event.
There was a group of 17 of us. I was the first person who made sure that vouchers are valid, accepted and we’re good to go to order. Than I double checked if vouchers are valid for alcohol and got the staff memebers’ confirmation as well. Both interactions I showed them vouchers, they were aware and it is definitely not the first time this place deal with the vouchers from College. Also some of our 17 people crowd also checked in with staff on vouchers.
During the check out, staying at the counter with the voucher in my hands, I’ve been asked for my credit card. They took it and swiped it, handing me the receipts. I was 100% sure they were charging me the difference between $40 voucher value and my total.
Unfortunately, they charged me the full amount, not using my voucher. When I asked the guy at the counter if he applied my voucher – he told me “I am not sure” or something like “I don’t think so”. Because of the magic of the night I was not at the energy level to spend my time staying there going back and forth and left. Hoping that they have my voucher and will fix it shortly.
Well, not happened. Being the only one international student on the team now I am also the only one who was charged the full amount and who’s voucher was not used.
Careful guys. You better double check your bank accounts there if you’re different and sound different from locals.

THANK YOU to Paul’s Deli for being open so late! My family and I got into Williamsburg a little before 10 p.m. last Friday and were looking for somewhere to eat. Paul’s delivered – tasty food, great service and the college atmosphere. I got a french dip, my mom got the chicken souvlaki and not sure what dad got. Definitely adding Paul’s to our rotation!

My boyfriend and I ate here when we stayed at a Bed and Breakfast just a block away. The vibe was great, and the food and service were even better. I highly recommend the gyros and Greek fries, because they were just amazing! Would definitely go back!

I wanted to like this place but just couldn’t! The front host had a very dry personality and wasn’t welcoming at all. There’s basically instructions listed on the wall for you to seat yourself, etc, which in my opinion takes away the opportunity for customer interaction. Anyways, we heard that the pizza was good at this place, but it was average at the least. The cheese on the pizza is so thick you can literally choke on it and the dough wasn’t cooked thoroughly. We would’ve probably been more happy ordering a pan pizza from Pizza Hut. The music selections played in the lobby wasn’t bad however, the volume was way too loud. Overall, LTS doesn’t recommend Paul’s Deli for pizza or dinning-in experience
