This place was great! The zucchini and pesto pizza was delicious and so were the fried mushrooms. I ordered the midnight rain mocktail and it was very just the perfect amount of citrus. Our server was really awesome as well. It was my first time here and I’ll definitely be back. The only complaint I have is that we had ordered two sourdough loaves to-go but we only received one and didn’t realize it until we were long gone from the restaurant but that’s my fault for not checking the bag.

Upon passing this extremely beautiful establishment, I realized that after beautiful cafe umbrella after umbrella, It was time to go inside and sit down and enjoy. I love it. I love it at night. I love it during the day, but specifically for breakfast time as they have none other than the Surfers Burrito, which comes with everything you could possibly need. There is great drip coffee and kind staff like Amy who lets you sit at the bar and just chill Happy Hour involving $10 wines I’d def in the itinerary for the future version of myself. Perfect for any date night and incredible on Fridays due to light jazz! The tiziki to start with warm bread followed by multiple glasses of champagne. The steak was one of my favorites in all of town and would love to have it again between that and the cauliflower cacio e pepe its a perfect blend of good things coming together. Thank you chefs you rocked this meal!

Beautiful space, but the food and allergy knowledge missed the mark.

I visited for brunch and absolutely loved the ambiance—the decor is great and the vibe is perfect for hanging out. Our server was a doll and never rushed us, allowing my friend and me plenty of time to catch up.

However, the experience was mixed. I started with a rose and cardamom latte, substituting whole milk for almond milk due to my tree nut allergies. It was delicious.

Things got complicated when ordering food. A woman in a black jacket (who turned out to be the manager) took our order. I wanted the Lemon Lavender Waffle (modified for my allergy: no pistachios, no coconut whip). She told me the batter itself contained coconut and I couldn’t have it. I was deciding on a backup plan when our original server returned. She checked with the kitchen and confirmed the batter is actually oat-based and coconut-free. It is worrying that a manager didn’t know the ingredients, especially when allergies are involved.

When the food arrived, it was a feast for the eyes, but not the stomach. My waffle was dry, the figs were flavorless, and the lemon/lavender notes were barely there. My friend’s Shakshuka was overloaded with chickpeas and parsley, which took away from the dish.

I might return because I loved the vibe, but I would definitely order something different next time.

The cafe is really cute and completely vegetarian! ☕️
They have some great vegan options too!

I got the Black Wheat Pancake It’s gluten free and tasted amazing! ✨
It came with light vegan whipped cream, and for me it’s the perfect sweet treat even without syrup! ️

What a great little place! The food was amazing and so were the drinks! Everything vegetarian with some of the best eggs. Definitely try the Rosemary Latte! It was just the herby number needed after a long late night drive!

I’ve been coming to The Butcher’s Daughter for a while now and what keeps me coming back is the consistency. The service, the freshness of the food, and the atmosphere are always on point — it truly never disappoints.

It’s one of those places I go when I don’t want to gamble on quality, service, or cleanliness. You know you’re going to have a good experience every time, and that reliability is rare.

I recently brought some friends who were visiting from out of town and they absolutely loved it. They’re also pretty tough critics when it comes to restaurants, so that says a lot.

I think it’s important to support businesses that consistently do things well, and The Butcher’s Daughter is definitely one of them. A true go-to spot. Thank you!!!
