This is my second time visiting Cane’s but my first time at this location, we drove an hour to eat lunch here! I was surprisingly impressed with how wonderful the food was, not to mention how happy it made me to see how many people were actually coming in to eat. There were so many customers coming in and out of the restaurant while we were there. Seems like everybody was leaving happy, I don’t blame them because our food was fantastic and it was so fresh. We all ordered the four piece chicken strips and fries, I suggested the six piece because a couple of us wouldn’t have minded having another one. The coleslaw was good too, but honestly, the bread and the chicken together with the cane sauce was just absolutely wonderful!
I loved the vibe of the restaurant, the candy cane decorations we’re super cute and festive! I feel like you don’t see that very often at other restaurants. There was plenty of space to be able to sit down and eat in the restaurant, which was really nice! We sat at a huge booth right by the Elvis picture, probably could have gotten like six people sitting there! There’s also some outdoor seating with some ambient lighting, I love that so much it was really pretty and cozy! I bet it’s really nice to sit out there in the summertime and enjoy the weather! Absolutely cannot wait to go back and get some hot and ready fresh chicken strips! Great friendly and courteous customer service, good job everyone!

I just went to the Raising Cane’s in Springfield, IL, and I’m honestly disappointed. I ordered a 3-Finger Combo, and the portions were WAY smaller than usual. I only took two fries and one bite of my toast, and when I counted what they gave me, it was only 20 fries total.
For a meal that costs around $11–14 after tax, that’s ridiculous. The chicken fingers were untouched in the box, so this is exactly how they served it. Cane’s used to give a full portion, but this location is seriously cutting corners. Definitely not worth the price at all.

Very Disappointed with the quality of the chicken fingers.
I recently ordered a box that included four chickens and added two extra pieces, specifically requesting them to be cooked extra extra crispy because I prefer my chicken well done. I even made it clear to the staff that I would return the order if the skin was coming off the meat, as that indicates it’s undercooked to my preference.
To my surprise, the order was ready in just 3 minutes, which immediately made me question how thoroughly it could have been cooked. Sure enough, the skin was falling off when I picked up the chicken. I brought the order back and asked them to remake it. Unfortunately, the second batch was no better. I didn’t have time to wait for a third attempt, which was frustrating, especially since I was clear about how I wanted it.
I spent $18 on this meal, and I left disappointed and without the enjoyment I was expecting. It seems the team either didn’t understand or didn’t take my request for “well done” and “extra extra crispy” seriously. Please do better.

Kind and efficient. If you like deep fried food it’s pretty good but if you’re concerned about fat and cholesterol not the best thing for your body.

My kids love this place so we go there a lot and get food to go. They are always fast and get our order right every time (which is rare these days at fast food places). The food is always fresh also. I just don’t think the strips have much flavor at all, if it wasn’t for the sauce it would be very bland (just my opinion) as I said my kids love it

Every time ive ordered (5x) my order came wrong. 2 separate same 3 piece combo with the bread buttered. Then 2 extra toast. For both. I order it an then tell them another. Same way. 4 extra toast. Butter both sides. Never have i ever gotten my extra toast paid for everytime. An all but once the chicken has been cold or undercooked. Nasty.

I usually love RC’s but, this location is poorly run. It was generally dirty, the staff was rude and the unisex bathroom’s were somewhat yucky. It was a slow period so you would think they come out of wipe tables or sweep floors but no. One employee was crashed in a booth giving it an inmates running the asylum look to the place.

Really good food. Meals are a little higher price than traditional fast food places like McDonald’s and Taco Bell. Chicken fingers and their specialty sauce is a great mix. Their hot buttered bread is delicious. Coleslaw isn’t as sweet as KFC but it’s good- not a vinegar slaw. Plenty of food for the price.

Tried Kane’s for the first time. This is my new favorite chicken place, for sure. Tender, light, crispy chicken. Good sauce. Fries were perfect. Lemonade was a bit tart, but I like tart lemonade. Texas toast had the slightly hint of garlic, which was perfect. The drive through experience reminds me of another popular fried chicken chain. Very pleasant. I will definitely be back.
