We stopped in for some pizza & wings around lunchtime on a Monday – the place was fairly empty but we sat right away & got waters. We ordered buffalo wings & a large margherita pizza. Wings definitely needed more sauce, very dry on the outside but still decent inside. The pizza was disappointing, not cooked long enough, very chewy and doughy. No crisp to the crust at all & it was definitely not a margherita pizza as you can see from my photos. We did finish our meal but won’t be back. Cook the pizza longer and use mozzarella cheese and fresh basil for the pizza. Wondering if we just got them on a bad day or what considering the other 5 star reviews but wanted to be honest with our experience!

My visit to Pat’s Pizza in Bar Harbor was a solid 4 out of 5 stars, and that rating is largely due to the fantastic hospitality we received. While the food itself was good, but not outstanding (I’d honestly give the food a 3-star rating on its own), our server, James, was absolutely superb and truly made the evening enjoyable.
James took great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed and checking in at all the right times. His excellent service is what bumps the overall experience up a full star.
As for the food, we tried two different pizzas: a single-dough pepperoni and banana pepper and a double-dough chicken bacon ranch. The pizza was decent—good, reliable comfort food, but not necessarily a standout or “must-have” slice. Separately, we also ordered the chicken tenders, and I have to say, the quality of the tenders was very good!

I love Pat’s Pizza! Not only is the food great but the owners and employees are wonderful too. Don’t miss Pat’s Pizza when you are in Bar Harbor and Acadia. They can do large orders too, ask for Jason and Georgia. We planned a rehearsal dinner from out of state and then had it at Schoodic Institute and hour away. They made the process so easy, I just can’t say enough about them.

I don’t usually do this but wow, absolutely terrible service terrible terrible terrible. After a long day of spending thousands on everything around bar harbor, all my family wanted was a nice cold sub and to just relax on our last day in this beautiful town. We decided to give this place a chance because they had “okay” reviews. Not only was the service terrible, it was basically non existent. We ordered 4 Italian subs, COLD subs, we ordered them and thought everything would be fine. After waiting a while, a couple behind us got their hot pizza which was both undercooked and overcooked at the same time. They left without taking a bite out of the poison in front of them. The building had humidity and was set to like 80° Fahrenheit making my whole family sweat just sitting there waiting for any word of our food. After waiting over an hour, we decided the wait wasn’t worth it and just left. We wouldn’t told our waiter but 1. We didn’t get a single thing from them the entire time we waited there(not even waters), 2. The waiter spent most of her time in the back room ignoring the growing line of poor suckers who are going to have to deal with this terrible experience.

Despite its low price point, the food was one of the best restaurants in Bar Harbor. We enjoyed the sausage pizza, Caribbean jerk chicken salad, spaghetti with meatballs and a generous 8 oz hamburger with cheddar and bacon. The service was great, professional and polite. We ended up going there 3 times. Especially after whole days hiking and biking. This is a great Italian restaurant with a Caribbean twist.

Good experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Ordered a small super veggie pizza and garlic bread. Decent pricing. The pizza was scrumptious, perfectly done, not too dry, good amount of veggies. It was pretty busy so I decided to takeout. It took around 20 minutes. Also, the entrance was from behind, from the deck.

Pretty great pizza joint. We got a small cheese and a large “Super Veggie”. Our plan was to get the pizza and drive it up Cadillac Mountain, but that plan didn’t work out. The pizza was cold by the time we started to eat it, it was still really good. The crust was perfectly done and there was a generous amount of cheese on there. I was impressed with the Super Veggie; sometimes pizza places either add too many veggies or have them dry up in the oven. I could really taste the veggies and it paired well with the cheese.
Seemed like there were regulars to the place when I was waiting to pick up our order.

Stopped in for a late night dinner and this place hit the spot! We ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and i got a bowl of the clam chowder. Both were so fresh. The pizza was the best I had on my trip to bar harbor and the clam chowder was amazing considering we were at a pizza place. Definitely try this place out!

Meh…went in on a Thursday afternoon and there was one gal running the whole operation. Even still service was lacking at best. Never saw her again after food got delivered. Had to track her down for the check. Food was 5 out of 10. Might be good for beers and pizza on a Friday or Saturday night though. Oh yeah…if you want to memorize three bob Marley songs this is the place. They’re on repeat You get to hear them about 5 times each while you eat.
