The only open from 5:00 to 9:00.
Great food, May really took care of us. I like how she wrote the names of the dishes on her to go boxes. The restroom was nice too.
Though we had reservations at 5:15 we got there at 5:00 and they made his wait 20 minutes to be seated, even though the place was empty.
We had the bone marrow, some awesome bread and king crab raviolis. We paid $72 for a $25 bottle of wine. Some wines on the list were $800. Crazy!
Nice place, and decent decorations for the holiday even though no Christmas music. I thought maybe it was because it was in La Jolla but the place next door really decked out their place with Christmas music and decorations. We’ll be going there next year.
The need to clean the patio mirror. Parking was very challenging, even on a Monday.

Marisi isn’t classic fine dining but we had a great visit. I don’t think of it as a classic Italian place – but our branzino was very tasty, our Caesar was fresh and enjoyable, I had a “mocktail” that was creative and delicious. The place is high energy in a good way – lots of peeps enjoying themselves. The decorations and atmosphere are exuberant and add to an overall fun night out. Good times.

The food here was amazing!! 9/10!
The atmosphere was a 9/10!
The drinks were about a 1/10. Me and my sister in law ordered a margarita and I don’t think they have ever made one in their life. It tasted like a side of lime juice. It had a big cubed ice as if it was an old fashioned.
The service was ok. I wouldn’t say spectacular. 5/10

Marisi may be the restaurant in San Diego I’ve been yearning for! We were lucky enough to get 3 seats at the bar after being fully booked that night and our experience was wonderful. We tried multiple appetizers and cocktails and everything was very good! Honestly though, our favourite… something so simple. The focaccia and brown butter balsamic. I will dream about this bread and dip for a long time. YUM!! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. I will absolutely come back!

Loved everything about my experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and tasty. I loved the ambiance and this restaurant is perfectly located by the Cove. The staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient. Definitely, recommend an advanced reservation especially on weekends.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We came to celebrate my birthday and EVERY SINGLE DISH was a standout and flavors I’d never tried. We had the tomato carpaccio, spicy rigatoni and the prawns. Everything was ridiculously delicious. Also wanted to mention our server Justin who couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. He was so kind and polite and lovely. I will 10000000% be back!!! Also last thing the vibe was immaculate!!

Pretty mediocre. Pasta dishes are kinda on the smaller size for the price. Carbonara was not close to al dente, it was almost too hard. Pesto was ok. Standout was the mushroom antipasto and the grilled beets.
Come for the vibes. Service was very good. Better options near by or at Olive garden.

We had a wonderful experience celebrating my birthday here! The food was absolutely delicious — we especially recommend the king crab agnolotti and pesto campanelle. The service was so friendly, and our server even suggested a fun drink for me and made a kid-friendly version for my daughter. The atmosphere was perfect for a special night, and they surprised me with a complimentary matcha cake for my birthday. It’s also kid-friendly with high chairs, which made it an easy and enjoyable outing for the whole family. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere was pleasant. The food was satisfactory. Nevertheless, the taste fell short of expectations. The dishes had a fishy and unpleasant odor, prompting us to request replacements. Even the new plates carried the same fishy smell, ultimately impacting the quality and flavor of the food. The venue and setting are appealing. The ambiance and decor are enjoyable; however, they must address the persistent issue of fishy odors and plate quality. The staff were nice and very friendly. Overall, the experience was marred by the unpleasant smell and subpar food quality. Hopefully, improvements can be made to enhance the overall dining experience.

We went for brunch and we really enjoyed it. Their patio is very pretty. The dry January drinks were pretty good. Their take on French toast was interesting. Reservations are recommended. Also, they add a surcharge to the bill which wasn’t mentioned before or in a noticeable place on the menu.
