An absolute gem of a restaurant with exceptional drinks and food. The service was terrific. They didn’t rush us and we were able to ask questions. Ambiance got loud once more people arrived in the dining room, but luckily we were on our way out. Delectable banana foster cheesecake. Save room for dessert!!!

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Oyster Bay in Cape May during the first week of November, and it was truly exceptional. Michelle was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire planning process. She went above and beyond to accommodate us—including allowing our setup the evening before—which took so much stress off our plate. The chef even gave us a glass of champagne to celebrate while we were setting up that evening!
The food was absolutely delicious, and our guests are still raving about it. They were even able to accommodate one of our vegetarian guests on the fly. The chef came out to speak with her and created something special for her! The pricing was very reasonable for such high-quality service and cuisine, and the entire experience felt seamless from start to finish.
After dinner, the staff warmly welcomed our friends into the bar area for welcome drinks, which made the night feel even more special and celebratory. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team.
Highly recommend Oyster Bay for any event—you’ll be in great hands. We can’t wait to go back!

Pretty, well kept establishment but can be renovated. Waitress was attentive but wasn’t happy with the tip because her words to my husband were “Just so you know, gratuity was NOT already in the bill”, and stormed off.
Other than that, food was just okay. The best thing in my opinion were the boardwalk fries. Perfectly seasoned, the right amount of thickness and crisp. I ordered the duck and for a $40 dish, I don’t want to see canned oranges on my plate. The flavors were nice on the duck and it was cooked tender. However, sides were flavorless and just seemed to be steamed and barely buttered.
Cocktail was delicious, but you can tell the garnish jalapeños were cut 2-3 days ago.
To finish, I don’t think I’d come back.

We made reservations to come here for our wedding anniversary and my husband ordered the salmon and I ordered the lamb with mashed potatoes and veggies which all was delicious and the lamb perfectly cooked ; however the salmon was over cooked so my husband sent it back and ordered the chicken which he found to be blend. Service was great and very helpful and friendly. The venue is very nice.

Came across this quaint and adorable restaurant as we walked through CM. We had 6 guests with us on a Saturday night and popped in during prime time without reservations. Not only were we seated right away, but the food was incredible and service was great! The crab soup was spicy and so good on a chilly night. The shrimp cocktail and crab & fried tomato appetizer were also incredible. Next time I will come even hungrier, but everything was great. We will be back!!

I’ve eaten a lot of cheesecake in my day. But I have never had such an amazing cheesecake Like banana bananas, Foster cheesecake at Oyster Bay. There really are no words to describe it. It’s absolutely incredible!
It’s light, airy , and the most incredible taste of cheesecake I’ve ever had. Whoever makes this. Make sure that you don’t ever change the recipe and don’t ever let them go! I’d give it a 10 stars if I could.

Top notch.. I live down here all summer for 12yrs and anytime I have friends or family down and they want to go out to dinner this is where I take them..it’s on point every time..fantastic steaks..very comfortable atmosphere and great service..it’s an act of God if you are able to get a parking spot but I have managed every time. Also the bar area is very nice, you can sit there and wait for your table or you can just order from the full menu right there.

Food was spectacular! One of the best meals we’ve had in town. The duck was cooked to perfection and our creme brûlée was so yummy. If you’re an aperol spritz girlie, this is your place! Also very gluten free conscientious for my friend who has celiac. If you’re looking for a high end dinner and cozy candlelit dinner, Oyster Bay is your place.

Had a lovely dinner here with my husband. Service was good, and the server was able to investigate any questions I had about gluten or corn ingredients. Excellent food and service. Nice atmosphere, though felt just a little dated. I like the sky lights in the area we were in. We dined early so it was before main dinner rush time and noise wasn’t out of hand. We had mixed drinks which were pretty good, oysters on the half shell that were excellent, and an entree each. He had the jambalaya which was very good and I had the chicken with mushroom risotto and carrots and an add on of crab Oscar. The mushroom risotto was excellent and the carrots were the best I have ever had as a side dish. Crab Oscar was very good. The chicken was cooked nicely but could have used a little more seasoning on the bird itself. The excellence of the accompaniments made it minimally affect my opinion of the dish overall. We greatly enjoyed our meal here and would not hesitate to come again in the future.
