Talkin’ Tacos™ started as a food truck in the Miami community, aiming to provide the best Mexican food in South Florida. But as we grew a larger and larger following, the lines around our food truck became too hard to keep up with. We knew we needed to expand into a restaurant space to be able to serve our awesome customers more of our famous tacos and Mexican food every day.

Talkin’ Taco was an absolute hit during our out-of-town trip. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who took the time to explain how ordering at the kiosk works and even recommended some of his favorite menu items—much appreciated for first-timers.
I ordered the taco trio and chose the Bang Bang Shrimp, Southwest Chicken, and Caribbean Carne tacos. Every single taco was packed with ingredients and bursting with flavor. The Southwest Chicken easily had some of the most flavorful chicken I’ve ever had—seriously impressive. The Caribbean Carne was a standout thanks to the sauce and plantains, which totally made that taco shine. And the pickled onions on the Bang Bang Shrimp? They took it completely over the top.
We also ordered the elote and WHOA. The portion alone could be a full meal—it was that big and that good.
Service was incredibly fast, and the to-go containers were perfect for keeping everything intact for the drive back to the hotel. Although… let’s be real—we dug into the tacos right there in the parking lot

The Talking Taco is the best taco place I’ve ever been to—super affordable and absolutely delicious. The tacos are sooo good! I tried the Bang Bang taco and it was amazing. Our food came out really fast after we ordered, and the drinks were just as good. I got the pumpkin spice horchata, and my mom got the strawberry lemonade. Everything was perfect—I’ll definitely be back!

Talkin’ Tacos just set a new personal taco benchmark for me. And I don’t say that lightly.
Let’s start with the birria tacos… because WOW. The meat was insanely juicy and fall-apart tender, packed with deep, slow-cooked flavor. That consommé though? A straight-up bowl of greasy perfection—the kind you sip, dip, and question why all soups aren’t made this way. Add in the gooey, stretchy cheese and you’ve got a taco that hits on every level. Next-level doesn’t even cover it.
The Bang Bang Shrimp tacos were straight otherworldly. Crispy, saucy, perfectly balanced—sweet heat with a crunch that kept me going back for “just one more bite”
Tried the fish taco too. I usually prefer mahi when it’s not fried, but this one still delivered. Solid flavor and absolutely worth ordering.
And then there’s the street corn bowl—a last-minute decision that turned out to be a genius move. Creamy, savory, packed with flavor.
Pro tip: add a little consommé to the street corn. Trust me.
