This place is an absolute gem. I love sushi joints hidden in strip malls because they end up having the freshest fish, the most creative sushi chefs and the best value. Would definitely recommend! Especially to those staying down the street at the Silverton!

I’m an Asian person who loves Japanese food and enjoys trying out new restaurants. This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and honestly, I was truly amazed! First of all, the sushi, rolls, and ramen broth were absolutely delicious!!! The sashimi portions were generous, the rice was incredibly fine, and the ramen broth was incredibly rich – simply unparalleled!!! Next, the price. I initially thought the à la carte prices would be quite expensive, but in reality, it only costs $20-30 per person! It’s fantastic! Finally, the service was also excellent; they were very attentive to my dining experience without being overly intrusive! Highly recommended!

When a sushi chef serves you nigiri and it’s as you should eat it. Don’t add, don’t subtract just enjoy. You know you’ve found a gem. Sawa sushi doesn’t look like much, tucked away in a target parking lot but it’s a pretty big deal. I was there nightly. The chef and server were kind, friendly and inviting. Do not pass this place by.

OBSESSED. Found this local spot on a whim based upon reviews. And WOW. came 3 weeks in a row. Delicious. Fresh. And great deals. Staff is fun and friendly too. Already brought 2 other people with me and they both loved it too.

Hands down, had to come here every time we’re in town the food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Our favorite was the salmon teriyaki. Highly recommended .
