It’s loud so kinda hard to hear one another.
They allow children which I thought was weird for a taproom but it wasn’t a big deal just threw off the vibe a little.

Really enjoyed our first time here. We both ordered burgers and they were fantastic! The self pour tap options were extensive. I like ciders and there were 3 options. There were a lot more options my husband.

The variety of beers here is definitely a positive and if you like to try many different beers, you will probably enjoy this spot. However, the food is just okay and fairly overpriced. In addition, it is very difficult to see the TVs to watch sports as they are located just so high in comparison to where the seats at least my family was sitting at.

Place was packed, told the server that it was just me, and he informed me that I could just go to the bar if that was OK. Not a problem. Waited for bartender for 10 mins, and he explained that I need a card to get beer…. which the server stand did not tell me about… so back in line at the server stand.
Filling your own beer is strange, but no wait I suppose. Ordered a burger with pickles, to be told shortly after they were out of pickles.
Burger came out quick, fries were good, but they missed the ranch I requested. Burger was fine… but not great. Finished my food without anyone checking if everything was OK, so never got to bring up the missing ranch.
Waited a half hour to pay the check. They were busy, but come on…. someone sitting at the bar has to wait that long to pay? Service is not their strong suite. Will not be back.

The waitstaff was attentive and the food tasted great. The variety of mixed drinks I had were all phenomenal. Great place to stop by and have a bite to eat with drinks.

I’m in town for work and noticed Decent People Taproom just across the parking lot—super convenient! I stopped by on a quiet Sunday afternoon and had the place to myself. The staff was really friendly and took the time to walk me through how their beer system works, which was helpful.
While the self-pour setup isn’t really my thing (turns out I’m not the best at pouring beers!), I have to say the selection was impressive. Just a heads-up: you’ll need to use a card to activate the taps, and even sample pours come with a small charge based on how much you pour.
Now let’s talk about the food—I ordered the Spicy Cowboy burger, and wow, it was awesome. Just the right amount of heat, great toppings, and cooked perfectly.
All in all, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try—especially if you’re nearby and looking for a solid bite and a laid-back atmosphere.

This review is a follow-up review I posted about 7 months ago. While I was wholeheartedly disappointed at that time, the General Manager reached out to me to give them another chance. Ginger was good to her word and provided us with a gift card for a return visit. I was pleased to Decent People another try, and I am glad that I did. The food was very good – actually ordered the same item from before, the Mushroom Swiss burger – it was outstanding! Also, my wife ordered the tacos, picture provided, which were very tasty.

Not sure what happened since the last time I went here, but the quality and service took a swan dive. It was almost $70 for food that was badly burnt, undercooked, or unbelievably under seasoned. The host was rude and hovered over me while I was paying to see what I was going to tip. She didn’t say whether or not the food was ready. She just walked to the back for 5 minutes, then sat down and talked to who I assumed was the manager. I waited about 10 minutes until the only server (who was clearly busy with 3-4 tables) brought out my food.
It was a poor experience, and I’m disappointed this place has gone downhill.

I came here with one of my friends and her mother in law and it was a wonderful experience. It’s family owned and inviting, clean, but most importantly the food was amazing! We all shared multiple dishes amongst each other and they were mouth watery delicious.

Stopped in for drinks after our work meeting. They must of been between shift changeovers as the bartender wasn’t there yet. I ordered a martini and their team made it happen. The sweetest woman came out from kitchen to figure it out with the waitress. Same lady from kitchen even came over to ask me if the drink was ok (it wasn’t a “martini”’ , but it worked). I shared my honest feedback and she was so kind in hearing my advice and then offered to pay for my drink (which I would not allow!) I was more than impressed with the service these ladies offered! They easily could have told me no but they really tried their best to make it happen. 5 stars for the effort and teamwork! We also stayed a while longer to enjoy some beers and apps!
