Laziza was already my favorite special occasion restaurant, but tonight solidified it as my favorite restaurant in the area, not just for special occasions. My boyfriend made reservations for Valentine’s Day on New Years Day, and we tried their Valentine’s prix fixe menu tonight. It was very busy, and the appetizers were taking a bit, and our server was so apologetic and kind. Our apps came out around 50ish minutes into our reservation, and then everything came out beautifully paced. The manager came by to apologize, as their kitchen was slammed with a large party all ordering well-done steaks that backed everything up. We have both worked food service, so no big deal, but then they very unexpectedly comped our prix fixe meal. We would have been happy to pay full price for our truly lovely meal, which we already thought was a wonderful value. Everything from the drinks to dessert was incredible. Hoping the tip for our hardworking server was a bright spot for being so lovely during a super busy service. We can’t wait to come back and have a leisurely romantic dinner again soon.

Holy cow! This was our first time ever here and it has easily become both my husband and I’s new favorite restaurant. They have items with meat, but also vegetarian and vegan options as well as gluten free. We went for Valentine’s Day and I’m pescatarian so I got the salmon and my husband got the short rib. Both were PHENOMENAL and we ate every drop. We had also gotten the ricotta dip for an appetizer which was delicious and then we got dessert as well. Everything was sooooo good and our waitress Avery was the best! She was extremely nice an upbeat and checked in at a perfect frequency. They just renovated and I love the new interior. We will absolutely be back – we’re still thinking about how delicious our food was and they have set an expectation for us when we try other places as well!

Ate at Laziza last night I started off with a Caesar Salad my wife had the Dolma (veg grape leaves). For our entrees I had the Short Ribs and she had Cauliflower Steak. The food was fabulous. Drinks were fabulous and our waitress Mia was awesome. Seating downstairs is more intimate than upstairs. If you like Mediterranean this place is a must. So lucky to have a place like this in Kent.

We drove 35 minutes to go here just randomly found it on Google and decided to give it a go. The atmosphere is very quiet very laid-back seems to be more of an older crowd. Downstairs and upstairs seating, looks like they only do the upstairs seating for parties and on the weekend only I believe.. We got the garlic cream pizza for the appetizer which was 10 out of 10 amazing and for dinner my best friend got the salmon and I got the grilled cheese with tomato soup combo. It was literally the best grilled cheese I’ve ever had in my life and he literally finished his entire plate no crumbs left lol that should tell you that this place was definitely a 10 out of 10 and if you’re in the Kent area in Ohio definitely check this place out.!!!

I come to town every month and this is an absolute staple. Everything from the service, food and atmosphere is top tier. I would highly recommend sitting at the bar because Kylie is such attentive, funny, likable and amazing soul you’ll meet. She always has great food and drink recommendations and also knows the area very well to recommend some other cool local spots. She always has a great attitude and makes the vibes real. The surf and turf or ribeye is my goto meal and the sampler as an app. The white almond amaretto cheese cake is homemade and *chefs kiss* amazing. Ask Kylie to make you one of her famous smoked old fashiones but make it with Basil Haden and add an extra cherry.. Im already lookin forward to my next adventure into town specifially to indulge in the full Laziza experience.

Perfect date night! Service was top notch, friendly and knowledgeable. Our server Madelyn was kind and attentive throughout our meal experience. I ordered the recommended short ribs and the flavors were fantastic. Tender fall off the bone meal! My husband ordered the alfredo pasta. The fresh noodles and spices really made this dish. Our pizza appetizer and martini cocktails were also delicious. The owner Ryan was delightful and friendly to talk to. We will be back, I can’t wait to try other dishes here.

Yes the Ribeye was very good and Desert, They have the best Fries so soft and tasty. The Service was outstanding, Just seeing the Owner engage with all the Customers to see if everything is going good for them is Over the Top. Highly recommended!

We have an absolutely incredible experience here every time! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. The staff are attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about the food they serve.
Every dish is fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with authentic flavors. The attention to detail in both the food and service made this a memorable dining experience. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend to anyone craving a true taste of the Mediterranean!

The new owners are bringing a fresh, delicious, and fun revival to a long-standing downtown Kent restaurant.
I waited to leaving this review so that I could try lunch, dinner and brunch services. All of my party’s entrees were prepared well and tasted great. A definite upgrade compared to the “other” Mediterranean restaurant we would frequent.
Sunday brunch is a winner, a hidden gem in Kent.
Desert feels curated and its own course. You could visit just for a desert date!
The chicken shawarma and chicken humus entrees are my favorite, especially when pared with tomato soup.
