Crawpappy’s Cajun Cuisine in Alma was so good! We started with the boudin eggrolls, and they were amazing – super flavorful and perfectly crispy. Then we had the blackened salmon and it was cooked beautifully with great seasoning. The red beans and rice were delicious and tasted like true Cajun comfort food. The service was friendly, the portions were generous, and everything came out hot and fresh. We’ll be stopping back in on our way through town again tomorrow.

Now listen, I wanted to take a good picture before I started eating, but I could not. Once the aroma of this gumbo hit my nostrils I went feral. I love everything about this place, the food, the atmosphere, the staff. Our waitress (Beth) was sweet and talked us into their homemade bread pudding. If i could give 7 or 8 stars I would, because I’m fairly certain that was a spiritual experience.

First of all the food is amazing!

Such a great place. The cuisine was amazing. Destiny was such an informative waitress & very patient. We had the best food! We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. Such a hardworking pleasant informative man. Thank you for such a great meal!

A really pleasant place to eat, glad we made a stop on by. Staff and owner are friendly and hospitable. The food was delicious. We had grilled shrimp, Simon’s special with etouffe, gumbo, and blackened chicken (which is one of the best deals on the menu). For dessert, we could not stop raving about the fried pie. We also had the pig pickin cake which was very good, a nice light dessert.

If I could give more stars, I would! The staff was fun and friendly, and oh my goodness, they can cook! We ordered SO MUCH FOOD! There were 4 of us, and we got a little bit of everything! If you don’t leave room for dessert, do yourself a favor and take 1 (or 2) to go!

We stopped in for lunch on Thursday on our way home to Little Rock from Northwest Arkansas. We were pleasantly surprised to find the food was fresh and delicious with the authentic New Orleans flavors. The service was great. They gave us samples of the different options to help us decide what we wanted. Overall it was a great experience.
