Really enjoyed our evening, our daughter’s band, “Granger” played along with 2 other bands that night. We had pizza, dark beer and good company. Very well ran food/pub,!! Will definitely go back soon, oh and there were many folks in tie dye shirts there— even better!!! ✌️

I love pizza, and in my 48 years I have NEVER tasted a better pie! I cannot recommend it enough. The price was great for s custom pizza 22 bucks with tax for a 9″. And the wait staff were great and attentive. It felt cozy like Cheers. Just call me Norm cause I’ll be a regular. Shout out to Jason as well.

I took my wife out for a date night, and we decided to try out this place. I had been there in years past, but usually just to watch a show and have a drink. This time though we ordered a pizza, that was phenomenal. The atmosphere is one that I felt was very welcoming. The bartender/servers were very pleasant and attentive to their guests needs. I think we’re pretty fortunate to have this place in our town. We will definitely be back again.

I love this place. Staff is great! Pizza superb and they have an incredible beer selection. Live music and a friendly atmosphere where everyone acts like they’re old friends and family makes for a great experience. I highly recommend d checking out a show!

Came to Joplin for volleyball state tournament, and I came here with another parent to have a drink and ended up trying the pizza. They had a large selection of over 40 beers on draft and the pizza was delicious! Will be coming back here the next time I visit.

This restaurant and pub is a wonderful safe space. Employees and owners are amazing humans that care about their community and customers like family. The food is top notch. Fancy topping or just a pepperoni, you cant go wrong.

They offer a wide range of N/A beers and other non alcoholic beverage options outside of soda. They truly exude customer service and loving their community. People come from around the US to come hang out here. Why? Because the owner is an amazing human and they’ve made the Blackthorn a home away from home.

The pizza here is AMAZING! My family and I stopped by from out of town and were initially hesitant since there weren’t many people eating there but WOW I’m so happy we stayed! I’m gluten free and had their cauliflower pizza crust and it was really great quality, didn’t fall apart or flop too easily. I am so impressed! We tried two of their specialty pizzas and couldn’t speak more highly of it! Also have 43 different beer on tap. Great service as well! Pretty decent price for a personal size pizza!
