The food was really good! I went for happy hour and got to try five different things and got the cocktail special. Something about the cocktail didn’t taste right but all of the food was really really delicious and well prepared. Don’t really have any notes on any of the food. The standout menu items were the potatoes on the happy hour, The spicy noodles were amazing, And the French toast is a must try!

Was suggested by a peep i meet at a hot springs about 500 miles away. Smells fantastic in here!! There’s gonna have to be several return trips. Based off of the smell alone. Love all the multi colored lanterns on the ceiling. Veronica was the hostess. Veronica is great. My waitress is also fantastic. My mocktail also fantastic. I ordered a cink it. The ladies next to me ordered Cheech and Chongs. Erica and Billy are spectacular. It’s new years eve. Can’t wait till my food gets here. Oh man! Speak of the devel!! I ordered La Zi Ji chicken and Lou Song Tang. Holy amazballs! Both of these items make me tingle with unadulterated glee? I say good show. My mouth is experiencing things and feelings it never has before. Lol what fun. Touche Ginger Pig! We shall meet again….

Ordered the potatoes from the happy hour menu and French toast as starters. The potatoes were decent and the sauce was delicious. Massive standout was the French toast. It was insane. Mochi filling between layers, crusted in coconut and fried. Crispy outer, warm soft, sweet inner. It was bomb

Had Tom yum noodles and the char siu for the mains and the char siu was nutty good. Somehow the pork was tender to the point it was like the consistency of bread. Just absolutely on point. Crispy skin and soft, soft inside. Was fantastic. I couldn’t get enough. The Tom yum was also delicious, noodles were perfect amount of firm and chewy and the sauce was amazing. They gave us some pickled vegetables as a consolation for the Tom yum being late due to going to the wrong table and those were fantastic too. Perfect pallate cleanser.

A little loud but could still hold a conversation. I think it was the guests and not the design of the place. Small place but not overly cramped. They did a good job with not stuffing too many tables inside.

The dumplings were delicious! The stir-fried cabbage was very flavorful, with seasoning and doneness perfectly balanced — crisp and refreshing. The Ants Climbing a Tree dish was tasty but just a little bit too salty.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely — lively and warm. The huge neon sign in Chinese saying “吃了吗” (“Have you eaten yet?”) at the entrance was such a fun and welcoming touch, it really felt like a greeting. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.

A lively, vibrant restaurant featuring flavors from across Southeast and East Asia. We visited The Ginger Pig for a Sunday dinner — our last meal before hopping on our flights back home — after reading stellar reviews online. This Michelin Bib Gourmand spot certainly lived up to its reputation as unique, eclectic, and vibey. Their menu features fusion items from across South and Southeast Asia, encompassing noodles, rice, stir fries, and toasts. We decided to split their tom yum tofu, garlic noodles, ants climbing on a tree, and French toast. Everything was phenomenal, but my favorite had to be the tofu. I loved the spicy, savory, sweet, and fruity flavor combination from the tom yum, and the fried tofu acted as the perfect sponge to hold onto all that deliciousness. A squeeze of lime definitely helps to bring it all together, and it’s delicious either with rice or even on its own. The garlic noodles were also tasty; the noodles were a great al dente, packed with garlic, and topped with a generous portion of sweet, springy shrimp. The flavor profile was more mild overall, but it was a good counterbalance against the bolder flavors of the tofu.

As we wrapped up our entrees, the bus boy came by to clear our table, and announced his arrival with, “I think charisma makes the world go round. Which is why I’m so glad the Oxford word of the year in 2023 was rizz. With that, I’m going to clear your tables now.” It was so unexpectedly hilarious, and honestly speaks to the overall vibe at The Ginger Pig — everything, from the staff to the decor, is friendly, welcoming, and fun.

As a finale for the meal, we got their Hong Kong-style French toast. They typically have a smaller, less sweet appetizer version as well but were sadly out, so we opted for the dessert form instead. The toast was massive and very decadent, with a pillowy interior that perfectly counterbalanced the crunchy exterior crust. The warm toast contrasted nicely with the cold ice cream, although I think the dish is a bit too rich to have much of.

Went to an early dinner at the Ginger Pig this evening with my wife. We had the Japanese Fried Chicken and Catsu Curry plate. The Japanese Fried chicken had just the right amount of spice and heat on. The Katsu Curry was cooked perfectly and the Hawaiian Macaroni salad was fantastic. We shared a Hong Kong French toast for dessert. It was also extremely good.

Super fun casual restaurant, all the food here is so good. You can tell the food is fusion but that is part of the fun! I love the char siu and the spicy eggplant. All the dishes I’ve ordered from here are very good. I love coming here every time in Denver!

So delicious, so friendly, so comfortable. I want to go back here every day! Every dish we had was fantastic. I would like to try absolutely everything on the menu. It is a small restaurant but they did an excellent job fitting arranging the seating to accommodate. I could see there being a wait here on the weekends!

Pro tip: Their online menu has pictures of everything
