The ice cream is made fresh and tastes fresh. No gloopy additives. They have a variety of flavors and will make any ice cream into a milk shake or sundae. I didn’t purchase any bakery items but they looked delicious. The staff is very friendly and the decor is “a place to enjoy ice cream with family and friends”.

I have stopped at Dewster’s everytime I swing by Elizabethtown for the past 3 years now. They are consistently fresh and delicious everytime, usually i notice small to large inconsistencies at nearly every business ive been to, whether its a chain or an authentic local shop, but this place has never missed.
There is always an option for me and it will always be good and fresh. Over 12 homemade ice cream flavors from the basics (believe me, even their basic flavors are nothing short of mind melting), to innovative takes using local inspiration. They will serve you in just about any way you could think, with many delectable toppings to make it just perfect.
What if I’m not really feeling ice cream though? There are always numerous baked items and specials waiting in the cool box, from pies, to cookies, brownies, and who knows what else they might have.
On top of this, the place is welcoming, cozy, makes you feel like a kid again, the employees and family are so kind and glad to help. Yet somehow, with all these nice things that sounds too perfect, they still maintain reasonable prices for the high quality goods that they put out.
I rarely ever give a full 5 star rating, but I cant think of anything that could sway me to believe this place deserves anything less, a True Gem.

Adorable mom and pop style ice cream shop with a farm to table feel. Fresh flowers in glass vases sat on every table top and it was super clean. Great customer service and delicious creamy ice cream. The pies/baked goods we took home were super yummy. The cookie pie was our favorite! Highly recommend making a stop here if you are in the area!

We trusted Dewsters with our wedding desserts and they did not disappoint! My husband and I were married while I was in the hospital and held our reception recently. We reached out to Dewsters for our desserts as we go to them almost every weekend for ice cream or their bakery items. They were so sweet and easy to work with when it came to ordering our cake and desserts. They were also really helpful with figuring out just how many desserts we needed to feed our guests. We had a strawberry cake with almond frosting and it was amazing! We also had their dark chocolate chip olive oil sea salt cookies, toffee chip cookies, s’mores bars, and peanut butter magic bars. Everyone LOVED our desserts, there wasn’t a lot left at the end the of the night!

Oh my goodness. The Ice Cream is the absolutely the BEST! Small batch, homemade deliciousness in a cup or cone. The “drunk monkey hot fudge sundae is awesome. Bourbon Ball ice cream with banana ice cream. Um um good!

This is the kind of place I love finding when I travel! What’s better than homemade ice cream?!
Awesome little ice cream shop with a nice variety of flavors. I enjoyed the bourbon ball ice cream and can’t remember the other flavor I had, but it too was delicious. That bourbon ball ice cream though, oh man…. I really hope I can visit again one day to have this truly amazing and unique flavor!
I also took a slice of their Kentucky Derby Pie which I enjoyed the following day after a tour at Buffalo Trace. It definitely hit the spot after the tour and was very tasty. Nicely done.
The place is squeaky clean, bright and inviting. The customer service is very friendly and warm. Thank you Dewster’s and keep up the good work!

I’ve eaten a lot of homemade ice cream , but Dewster’s is among the best I’ve ever had. I sampled pineapple, then I tried peach. Bot were full flavored rich and creamy. PERFECTION ! I THEN MOVED ON TO THE ULTIMATE OF ULTIMATES. ” THE BANANA SPLIT ” , the old fashion style . AGAIN, it was excellent, excellent. Excellent !!! Excellent Excellent . Service is wonderful 4-28-24.
In addition to the ice cream, the staff were extremely friendly, and as you were looking at the display of all the different ice creams, they were describing each flavor. Staff were very, very helpful & professional. I would recommend Dewestet’s to anyone who enjoys the comfort you get from ice cream – the best I’ve had in years. 9/27/23, still the absolute best ice cream around . I highly recommend this eating establishment. The peach crumble. Pie llooked so delicious.

Their chocolate ice cream is really good, but I want to comment on their peach cobbler. It was amazing. The best peach cobbler I’ve ever had!!! But as far as spiritually, just remember, the Lord Jesus Christ is always their willing to take anybody. Just know you’re a sinner. and you need to take him as a free gift and only trust in the Lord Jesus Christ to get you to heaven!!!
