First: the server was great. Very attentive and kind.
Second: the Spanish dog is delicious.
Third: it was only after I finished the delicious Spanish dog handed to me by the kind and attentive server that I noticed the short order cook in the kitchen window staring at his phone chewing his nails. I likely would not have eaten had i noticed that prior. I’d love to come back and try more food, but someone has got to have a word with the nail biting cook cuz thas nasssstyyy

Old fashioned root beer and coney dog establishment. I call this place old reliable because it never disappoints. It’s a rite of passage for summer here, I go frequently while it’s open. Coney dogs are excellent but their homemade root beer is great!

In my 45 years of being a customer at The Root Beer stand I have always had great service. Tonight though was not what we normally experience. We waited 45 minutes for our meal while those around us all got there food in timely manner. The excuse was the kitchen got back up while everyone else got there orders I find that unlikely. Finally, we got our food which was like
Luke warm at best, no ice cream in my float. They did give us a 25% discount, which is fine. I know they can do better. We will go back and hopefully get the great service we have had before.

I have been eating B-K Root Beer’s spanish hotdogs for 63 years. I got some today at the Troy location and I thought they were WRETCHED!!! I thought they didn’t taste even close to how they are supposed to taste; there was not enough tomato sauce or something. The recipe was off, they were not spoiled or contaminated or anything like that. They were just not made according to the proper recipe.
I suspect nobody is left there who knows how B-K spanish dogs are supposed to taste. Or nobody cares anymore.
I can tell you that the Piqua location and the Sidney location still know how to make the spanish dog sauce taste right! They are worth the drive!
So, I shall never darken the parking lot of the Troy location again. The Troy location just has NOT satisfied my discerning tastebuds since it moved from its original location to where it is now.

Went there and got 3 Spanish dogs with cheese. When I got the bag it looked like the cheese had exploded all over. I hardly ever come to this stand because of the service and quality. Piqua is way better but they are not open on Sundays. With this I can wait for Monday.

With not to many car hop root beer/foodstands around, this place is a must. Good food, prices and service. Great place to take the kids to let them have the experience we all grew up with, or just a quick stop for a quick bite. Definitely recommend.

This place is just terrific!! Everyone is always nice; the food is just simple, good, drive-in fare; and the atmosphere that comes from getting a tray on your rolled down window on a late summer day is the best! Be sure to try the Spanish Dog and a frosty mug of their root beer.

I got the new 67 burger and the Adrian fries and they gave me a barbershop haircut for a quarter!

Quaint little restaurant that brings nostalgic vibes by offering “rootbeer stand” service at your car, outdoor seating or inside service with seating. I stumbled across this place via Google maps so this was my first visit. The food that I ordered (double cheeseburger, fries and hot fudge sundae) was really tasty and the young staff was quick and attentive. I found out during visit that their operating hours are limited, as they shut down during the cold months. I would recommend this restaurant for their service and food.

Great spot for some old fashioned burgers and Root beer. Cheeseburgers never disappoint and I’m looking forward to trying some ice cream on my next visit.
